TOWIE’s Junaid Ahmed reunites with former BFF after ‘tough ride’ liennhi

His relationship with Joe Blackman has caused a rift in the cast

As predicted, the latest TOWIE holibobs to Bali is stirring up nothing but absolute chaos amongst the cast; this Junaid Ahmed x Joe Blackman x Harry Derbidge storyline is truly the storyline that keeps on giving and SOMEHOW the revelations just keep on coming and SOMEHOW it's affecting the entire cast (except Amber Turner – she's just happy matching her spenny outfits to exotic bugs).

As much as we are living for the drama this series (as always), we have to be honest, we are starting to feel a bit sorry for Junaid – and we're clearly not the only ones.

Don't get us wrong and don't come for us; Junaid has certainly made mistakes since joining the TOWIE cast in 2022 and in recent months, he's certainly made his own bed with Joe and Harry (no pun intended), but we hate seeing anybody feeling isolated and genuinely downtrodden on the show and while we're on the subject, we can't fathom why any viewer would feel the need to send abuse to him (or any cast member) on social media (it's TOWIE, folks – calm down).

Thankfully, Jordan Brook and Chloe Meadows chose kindness while filming abroad and took Junaid to one side last episode to discuss him getting himself out of this latest mess and making amends with those he's pushed away. Then, of course, towards the end of the most recent episode we saw thatElla Rae Wise – while still clearly hurt by Junaid and Joe's actions – clearly still cares for both of them.

If you ask us, we're getting whiffs of yet another Junaid redemption arc on TOWIE, and a show spoiler posted by Saffron Lempriere has revealed that Junaid and Ella may be seriously making amends weeks on (Bali scenes were filmed in January).

Saffron recently shared a behind-the-scenes production shot on her Instagram story and it clearly shows her, Freddie Bentley, Junaid and Ella sitting down for coffee together – and from the looks of things, it's a friendly affair. We all see Junaid smiling, right?

In fact, it looks like Ella, Junaid and Joe might begin their healing journey in Bali. We found the following still from next Sunday's episode showing Junaid, Ella, Saffron and Joe entering a room together and it's giving squad.

Junaid and boyfriend Joe were forced to release an official statement (alongside TOWIE) addressing the 'abuse' they have received from some fans online since series 35 launched.

In a collab post released last weekend, the boys wrote, 'We would like to address tonight’s episode of @towie along side the previous episodes and series, the amount of abuse and hate we are receiving on all socials is beyond belief.

'We have opened up our lives to the public and given our truth and real emotions. We have both openly said we have done wrong in the past and take full responsibility and acknowledgement for this.

'We are genuinely sorry for our actions and any hurt we have caused the cast and viewers. We are REAL people with real emotions and let’s face it we have all done things we are not proud of.

'Please can everyone think before you post on social media because these comments can be seriously damaging to anyone’s mental health.'
