The RHOC alum took fans inside her "family funday" with John and all six of their kids: "Worth it all!"
Alexis Bellino technically isn’t a stepmom yet, but it’s clear she’s already enjoying the role.
While preparing to tie the knot with John Janssen this fall, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum gave fans another inside look at their blended family life. The soon-to-be husband and wife headed to Los Angeles County on Saturday for a fun but exhausting day of watersports with their respective kids.
“Family funday…. jetskis to Catalina,” Alexis captioned an August 9 Instagram video. “I guess all 6 kids are as crazy as mom/stepmom.”
The trip included Alexis’ 17-year-old twins, Miles and Mackenna, and 19-year-old son, James, all of whom she shares with her ex-husband, Jim Bellino. John has two adult daughters and an adult son from a previous marriage.

Alexis went on to share a few more photos and videos of the family outing, which included an 11-hour jet-ski excursion from Long Beach to Catalina Island. She reflected on the experience in an August 10 Instagram carousel featuring sweet snaps of her and John, breathtaking views of the ocean, and incredible footage of a pod of dolphins.
“[Forty-six] miles on a [Sea-Doo] across the ocean!!!!! Follow our journey!!! It’s a must do!!!!” she wrote in the post. “All kiddos and John and I went from Long Beach to Catalina and back!!! Glass ocean for a moment, but it didn’t last long and oh my golly… we all hurt today. Feels like we were run over by a truck. But totally worth it all!!!!
“Jet ski’s next to dolphins for 10 minutes!!!!! But Blooper video is the best,” Alexis continued. “[Twelve] of us went on this 11 hour excursion.. only 5 of us dared to take the last photo…. no blame. It was exhausting. Yet WORTH IT ALL!!!!!! And thank Jesus no injuries, just a lot of AA...Aches and Advil!!!”

Alexis and John are set to marry in October, about 14 months after they got engaged. The former Housewife teased her wedding plans during a September 2024 sitdown with BravoTV.com, saying the ceremony would be intimate and unconventional.
“We’re not doing a typical wedding. We’re changing it. We have a couple of creative ideas,” she revealed. “I’m not walking down an aisle, but my son James did ask to give me [away] to John, so we’re gonna figure that out since I don’t want to walk down an aisle.”

Alexis said she and John wanted to cap the guest list at 100 family members and close friends. RHOC’s Tamra Judge said she will attend the wedding and confirmed that her castmate Heather Dubrow also received an invitation.
Shortly after her “family funday,” Alexis revealed that she and John also invited their personal chef, Mac Noodlez, to the wedding. Alexis reshared an Instagram video of Mac — who has made numerous appearances on RHOC — showing off the gorgeous wedding invite.
“I have just received an invitation to the Alexis Bellino and John Janssen wedding,” he said while holding the monogrammed card. “I am super stoked, super honored that they would want me to be present, in attendance, at this wedding. So, I cannot wait. It’s in October. I think I’m gonna get a nice green tux… This is super awesome. This wedding is gonna be super beautiful.”
