ABC Renews ‘The Bachelor’ Season 30 With New Showrunner Scott Teti tram

Bachelor Nation fans are now getting answers about the fate of The Bachelor.

Deadline broke the news on Monday, June 30, that the long-running series was renewed for season 30. The outlet also reported that Scott Teti would be serving as The Bachelor executive producer and showrunner for season 30. (He is currently the executive producer and showrunner of Bachelor in Paradise season 10, which airs next month.)

While no premiere date has been revealed for The Bachelor, the outlet noted that ABC has yet to share its midseason 2026 scheduling — which is when the series typically airs.

The decision comes amid fan speculation about the state of the franchise after both Bachelor in Paradise and The Bachelorette were skipped for a season. Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor, however, is scheduled to premiere later this year with Mel Owens.

While the beachy spinoff series did not air in 2024, it is set to premiere next month with a shakeup: the Goldens are joining the contestants in Costa Rica. The fate of The Bachelorette is still unclear, but Us Weekly understands that it is unlikely for the show to return in 2025 — however, the option hasn’t been taken off the table.

Grant Ellis led the most recent season of The Bachelor, which wrapped up in March with him popping the question to Juliana Pasquarosa. Less than three months after the finale aired on ABC, Grant, 31, revealed that he and Juliana, 28, had called off their engagement.

“This is one of the harder things I’ve had to write, but I want to share it honestly. Juliana and I have decided to end our relationship,” Grant wrote via Instagram earlier this month. “We both gave this our best and poured a lot of love into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations, we’ve come to the understanding that we’re simply not the right fit long term.”

Juliana, for her part, released her own statement addressing the split. “We’re still cheering each other on, just from different places now,” she wrote, in part. “I’m beyond thankful for all the love and support you all have given us. Please be kind 💜.”

Days after Grant and Juliana announced their separation, Us confirmed that the exes no longer followed each other on Instagram. (It was unclear at the time when they stopped keeping up with each other online.)

While Grant navigates his newly single life, he shared that he doesn’t feel a sense of urgency about getting back out there. “I’m just taking some time to chill for a little bit,” Grant explained via Instagram Live earlier this month. “Focus on me … Honestly, I’m not looking for anything right now. I’m just chilling.”
