The presenter demanded answers from her fellow panellist
Loose Women star Charlene White asked to "stop proceedings" as she called out "liar" Janet Street-Porter for a claim she made earlier on in the show.
On Tuesday (22nd April), lead panellist Charlene White was joined on the ITV daytime show with Janet-Street Porter, Kelly Brook and Brenda Edwards.
The discussion started as the panel mentioned the death of 88-year-old Pope Francis on 21st April after his passing over the Easter weekend.
Kelly Brook went onto share a story about her Catholic husband, Jeremy Parisi, accidentally eating meat on Good Friday after forgetting the day.
She said: "On Friday he gets a message from his mother, 'just to remind you, you're not supposed to eat meat today'. At which point the guilt that came over his face because he'd already had a fry-up, had already been served.
"Me being non-Catholic, none the wiser. I just thought that's so interesting. That's why I've always been kind of against a lot of religions because of the guilt that goes with divorce and you know, all sorts of different things."
Janet then interjected and said: "Even I didn't eat meat on Friday. I banned meat in my home. We did not have a fry-up on Friday, we absolutely did not!"
However, as they returned after the break, Charlene asked to "stop proceedings" in order to call out a "liar" in the studio.
She then continued: "Janet you forget that social media exists sometimes don't you? Because one of our producers has found this..."
They then showed a photo that Janet had posted on her Instagram of her enjoying a bacon sandwich on the Friday. On her social media at the time, she wrote: "Perfect Bank holiday breakfast at JJays Gorleston today with a cabaret from the East of England pug club beach walk! Does it get any better?"
Charlene added: "Janet having breakfast by the sea on Friday morning. What do you see under those eggs ladies and gentlemen? I see BACON!"
As the audience erupted in laughter, Janet joked: "How do you know it's not vegetarian bacon?" before confirming that it wasn't.
Kelly asked for Janet to give her an apology, to which Janet responded: "Alright. I'm sorry but not that sorry, because most of the breakfast was egg."
