Will Best Reveals Major BRIT Awards Blunder That Left Big Brother Star Deeply Embarrassed! trucc

Telly presenter Will Best has revealed he left the BRIT Awards very early last night due to a mix up in communication as he attempted to beat the rush out of the O2 Arena

Presenter Will Best has revealed why he ended up leaving this year's BRIT Awards earlier than expected last night.

The Big Brother host, 40, had been among the guests at the awards ceremony, which was held at the O2 Arena in London. He was initially seen on the red carpet and later in the evening shared content from his table inside the venue. Will - who fronts a Hits Radio show each weekend - was seated at a table with the likes of fellow radio presenters Fleur East, Sam Thompson, Pete Wicks and Dave Berry.

He's since told fans that he "accidentally" left the ceremony - which was broadcast on ITV from 8.15pm to 10.40pm - earlier than expected. Will said that he was told that it would finish at 10.15pm and he had wanted to "beat the rush".

Sharing a video of himself on the way to work this morning, he told his followers on Instagram: "Oh boy. Feeling a little bit worse for wear. BRITs last night. Feeling a little bit worse for wear even though I accidentally left like an hour early."

He continued: "The person next to me told me it finished at 10.15 so I left like... Oh I thought I'll beat the rush and I'll just leg it out. Got home and it was still on the tele." He added in the video message: "So I wasn't really paying attention."

Will then shared: "But I didn't ... I wasn't up late but I did do that mistake of like 'well I'm gonna leave early so I'll just have like four shots at the table, a few bits'. I drank a little bit too much. Legend alert. And now I've got my radio show." He assured: "But I've got a coffee and it's gonna be fine."

Following the awards ceremony, Will had teased that he had headed to McDonald's and returned home instead of joining other celebrities at an after-party. He confirmed that he wasn't out partying with two posts last night.

He first shared a photo of a reciept for a £12 order, which included a Big Mac, a McSpicy Chicken burger and a strawberry milkshake, that was timestamped to 10.39pm last night. He used #BRITS and #AFTERPARTY as the caption.

Shortly afterwards, Will uploaded a photo of himself and his dog Sandwich, suggesting that he was home. He once again teased that it was his alternative to being out partying, including the same two hashtags as his previous post.
