On September 8, Bravo announced Season 10 of Married to Medicine with a 30-second teaser of the series. It showed a peek of the "Southern belle" Phaedra Parks, Esq., who was new to the cast.
The official trailer was released on October 5, and showed there would be plenty of drama to go around in the group. Check out the trailer tease below.
This season’s returning cast members were Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Toya Bush-Harris, and Quad Webb. Phaedra Parks, Esq. joined the cast as a new member.
Lateasha Lunceford, the new wife of Dr. Gregory Lunceford, was also a new member of the cast, while Dr. Alicia Egolum was a friend of the group.
Phaedra appeared on Seasons 3 through 9 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. After leaving RHOA in 2017, she appeared in Season 1 of The Real Housewives of Dubai, was a cast member on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girl Trip in Season 2, and made a guest appearance on The Real Housewives of New Jersey in Season 13 (as a guest at Teresa Giudice's wedding).
She announced during RHUGT — which aired in July 2022 — that she was dating an unnamed doctor. Though she declined to tell her cast mates his name or how they met, she did call him "a good guy" and added "He’s really good with children," noting he'd met her two sons. A week after the episode aired, she told Andy on WWHL that the two had taken a step back.
"We're good friends. I don't think it's a love connection like I thought it might be," she explained. "He's a great guy, but, you know, I am still out there dating others."
However, when her casting was announced in September 2023, it was rumored that she was dating a doctor. During the season, it was revealed that she had been dating a pediatric cardiologist from Nigeria for a year, but they subsequently broke up.
Phaedra had also become a certified level Reiki Master and was planning on opening a wellness center focused on reiki therapy, healing crystals and more, according to the casting announcement.
Season 1 through Season 10 of Married to Medicine are available to stream on Peacock. You can also catch up on the past seasons on BravoTV.com or in the Bravo app.
