Bachelor Grant Ellis has some more decisions to make.
Season 29 of “The Bachelor” kicked off on Monday, Jan. 27, and episode 2 airs on ABC Monday, Feb. 3, at 8 p.m. EST.
A description for the two-hour episode reads: “Grant goes on a series of dates that play up his love of sports and music while continuing his search for true love in Los Angeles; drama erupts at the cocktail party due to rising jealousy among the women as they all try to impress Grant.”
Ellis’ first one-on-one date of the season will be with pediatric speech therapist Alexe Godin. He gave Godin his first impression rose during the premiere episode. Due to a new twist, that rose also earned Godin the first date.
Godin certainly stood out during episode 1. She arrived with a llama in tow to represent her upbringing on a farm in New Brunswick, Canada. She dubbed Linda the “no drama llama” and charmed Ellis with her sense of humor and playful demeanor.
While Godin got the only first impression rose, she was not the only contestant to kiss Ellis on night one. In fact, the Bachelor broke a record by kissing eight women during the premiere: Godin, Allyshia Gupta, Juliana Pasquarosa, Litia Garr, Vicky Nyamuswa, Zoe McGrady, Natalie Phillips, and Rose Sombke.
Seven women were less lucky and got sent home. Christina Smith, J’Nae Squires-Horton, Kelsey Curtis, Kyleigh Henrich, Neicey Baxter, Radhika Gupta, and Savannah Quinn were all eliminated during the season 29 premiere.
