West Wilson has officially moved! The Summer House cast member is still living his best life in New York City when he isn't vacationing in the Hamptons during the summer. But he now has a little more space to roam, as he has his first grown-up apartment.
West took to the first episode of his new podcast, Show Me Something, (more on that down below), where he shared the good news. Although he did not share too many details about the apartment or neighborhood, he seemed pretty excited about it. "I just moved," he said.
"It's my first big boy apartment," he continued, noting that he does not have any roommates and is living "solo."
Although he admitted that finding space in New York can be hard without "tripping on shoes," he has now found the perfect place for himself. "[The] couch [is] built, TV's up, couple dressers built," he admitted. "So, we're getting there."
In an interview with People in May, West admitted that he has thought about getting a dog to live with him in his NYC apartment. "I'm waiting for the right moment, but once I start traveling less, we'll get serious," he said.
West Wilson says moving to New York City was one of his best "investments"
During a February appearance on the podcast, Trading Secrets, West admitted that his initial move to NYC is one of the best investments he has ever made. "I moved to New York right after I graduated, didn't have a job, and like, slept on couches and s—t," he said.
"And so I think that, I mean, that is some financial investment, but that was a lot of time investment, uncomfortability investment," he continued. "Like, I think you can invest more than just money, but that was a big one."
Details on West Wilson's new career move and podcast
In addition to being a sports writer and contributor for Complex, West is now the host of the podcast, alongside his childhood friend and WNBA player, Sophie Cunningham, which he launched this week.
During the first episode, which debuted earlier this week, West expressed his excitement for the new venture. "So yeah, we're gonna see where this podcast goes," he said. "There's gonna be a little bit of WNBA talk, a little bit of pop culture talk, maybe some fashion, food."
