CELEBRITY Big Brother viewers have branded Chris Hughes "creepy" after he told JoJo Siwa he would kiss her.
The unlikely pair have struck up a close friendship in the house, regularly cuddling on the sofa, sharing a bed, and writing secret messages to each other.
But their dynamic took an uncomfortable turn after Love Island star Chris Hughes, 32, made a very unexpected comment to JoJo, 21.
The awkward moment unfolded as the housemates were joking about sharing spaghetti “like Lady and the Tramp”.
JoJo had initially asked: “You want to have tin spaghetti?” to which Chris replied: “Yeah, like Lady and the Tramp?”
The Dance Moms star soon shut him down with: “No, but we can have some together.”
To which Chris responded: “Of course we can, my darling.”
As Chris applied some balm to his lips, he leant over and moisturised JoJo's too while her eyes were closed.
He suggestively joked: “Oh, it's my finger, don't worry. Would I ever?"
When Chris then suggested a kiss, JoJo immediately shut him down, saying, “No kissing, don’t kiss me. You’re not my good mate,” with a serious tone that caught viewers' attention.
Fans quickly took to social media to express their discomfort.
One wrote on X, formerly Twitter: "Chris is going to far with this ‘thing’ with JoJo now. It’s getting weird and creepy."

Another agreed: "Genuinely can’t deal with seeing Chris and Jojo it’s such a creepy dynamic @bbuk less airtime please."
Someone else said: "Chris is just full on ruining his ‘career’ in here. Just absolutely bizarre behaviour even beyond Jojo being a lesbian. The age gap is f*****g weird as well. Is he trying to crack America or something? #cbb #cbbuk."
Chris’s kiss comment isn’t the only thing that’s raised eyebrows.
Earlier in the series, he even offered to have JoJo's babies - despite the American singer having a partner on the outside.
Many fans have been left feeling sorry for JoJo's partner, Australian influencer and LGBTQ+ advocate Kath Ebbs, 27, after watching the two stars grow closer.
They had previously promised to post to Instagram every day JoJo was in the house - but Kath has gone noticeably quiet since the friendship with Chris began.
Tension around the dynamic escalated again on Saturday night.
Although there’s no main show aired on Saturdays, the 24/7 livestream continued - and captured a steamy moment in the hot tub.
JoJo and Chris were seen getting intimate as they soaked in the water, in what fans described as an increasingly awkward interaction.
JoJo has become closely bonded with the reality star throughout the series.
Their connection deepened after Chris stepped in to defend her when Mickey Rourke's homophobic slur earlier in the series.
But despite the supportive gesture, many fans now feel the closeness has gone too far - and they’re growing increasingly uneasy with how it’s unfolding on screen.
