Watch moment Junaid admits his true feelings for Harry’s boyfriend BEFORE their devastating split liennhi

TOWIE fans were left open-mouthed as Junaid Ahmed confessed his feelings for Harry Derbidge's boyfriend Joe Blackman.

Junaid, 30, got emotional as he spoke about his connection with Joe during last night's show.

He told pals Dani Imbert and Saffron Lempriere that he had formed a strong bond with Joe while on the Cyprus away trip.

Speaking about his feelings on Sunday's episode: Junaid said: "I do feel like there's a great connection to the wrong person."

Junaid fought back tears and said: "But I'm not a bad person.

"All I want is to be loved and I can't help the connection that we have.

"Like it's just crazy. I just don't want to get hurt and I don't want to hurt anyone else."

Breaking down in tears, he continued: "There's something going on but I don't know if it's just here.

"My head is scrambled."

The heartbroken star said he wanted to continue his friendship with Joe, despite his mates warning against it.

Dani gave her friend some advice and said: "I think you need to take a step back from Joe.

"You are Harry's friend and you are Joe's friend and if you feel like you're crossing that line with Joe, remove yourself from the situation before this gets messy and you start hurting Harry.

"Harry is your best mate, is it actually worth potentially losing a friend over this?"

Junaid explained: "Right now, obviously they are together.

"They're on a break and I'm never going to be that person that gets involved in a relationship when they're still not whatever they are."

The Sun revealed earlier this month how Harry Derbidge's ex Joe had moved on with co-star Junaid just two weeks after splitting.

TV favourite Junaid, 30, has now admitted that his romantic life is progressing in the right direction, despite the controversy.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, Junaid said: "I'm the happiest I've ever been, it will pan out on the show.

"I knew Harry and Joe's relationship was on the rocks prior to coming to Cyprus and being in Cyprus everyone saw it.

"On both parts it didn't work out, I get that it's sad 100 per cent and I wish them both well."

Reality star Junaid teased there will be some fiery rows between himself and Harry.

"Me and Harry have a very open and honest conversation, as you can imagine that pans out.

"Me and Joe has some very honest and open conversations about us and where do we go and what does happen.

"There is so much emotion and heartfelt moments in this show, it's hard because I genuinely feel like this is the happiest series I've had.

"I've lost a lot this series but it's also made me the happiest person I am."

Despite claims that the Junaid and Joe got together just two weeks Joe's breakup, Junaid admitted he has no regrets.

He went on: "I don't live my life on regrets, I'm a massive believer that everything happens for a reason and what's meant will be will be."

Joe and Junaid have been spotted enjoying dates since they returned to Essex and have grown closer following the Cyprus trip.

A source told us: "Since then Joe and Junaid have been spending lots of time together.

“They been spotted on dates around Essex and staying at each others, so it’s only a matter of time before things erupt with Harry."

The storyline will play out for viewers later this year, as cast members are forced to take sides.

“It’s likely to be a huge storyline on the show – and everyone will be very divided over it," they added.
