The Washington Capitals announced this year’s Development Camp roster on Monday evening. A group of 31 prospects will descend upon MedStar Capitals Iceplex for five days of workouts, organizational orientation, and the annual 3-on-3 tournament.
Many of the Capitals’ top prospects, including Andrew Cristall, Cole Hutson, Ilya Protas, and Terik Parascak, will return as veterans of past camps. All five of the club’s draft picks from this past weekend’s 2025 NHL Draft will be in attendance, including first-round selection Lynden Lakovic.
The Capitals released the full schedule for the camp last week. The five-day event begins on July 1, the same day that NHL free agency opens.
