Venita Aspen has one very special man in her life that she continues to make her primary focus — her adorable pet Cavachon, Charles. After the Southern Charm cast member tried to pursue things with fellow cast member, Jarrett "JT" Thomas, in Southern Charm Season 10, she's now reminiscing on sweeter moments with her super cute dog.
Venita took to her Instagram Story over the weekend, where she posted the cutest photos and videos of Charles in honor of the day that she adopted him nearly a decade ago. She first posted a photo of her dog, sitting in her lap while she smiled for the camera. "I got Charles 7 years ago yesterday, cue the tears," she wrote over the sweet throwback snapshot. "Look at how tiny he was!!"
She then posted a recent photo of her sweet dog, who can be seen with his little tongue sticking out of his mouth, sitting on top of a bed of flower petals, underneath the most gorgeous flowering bush. "My big boy," she wrote over the photo. She also captured a hilarious video of the dig barking at his reflection in the mirror. Although he might be one small pup, he has one big, ferocious bark inside of him. "Been scary his whole life!!" she added in the caption of the video.

This walk down memory lane was extra nostalgic for Venita, who discovered new photos and videos of her late aunt, one of which she posted to her Instagram Story. "My aunt was at my house for the last time 3 years ago," she noted. "Loss doesn't get easier, you just learn to adjust."

Venita Aspen opens up about her dating life today
Charles is Venita's main priority in life, as she recently told Andy Cohen that she is "not" dating anyone during a March 20 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. But, she does have her sights set on someone special. "There is a man who is on NBC that I have my eye on," she explained. "He's a Chicago PD [guy]. I just found him a couple of weeks ago and think he's handsome."
Although she did not reveal his identity, she did admit that she has reached out to him. "I slid in his DMs, and it's so funny, I said, 'We work for the same network, but we never ran into each other,'" she recalled. "And I got a follow and a response. Yeah, you know, I'm working on it."
