"Dancing With the Stars” pro Val Chmerkovskiy has been cast in another reality television show. The ballroom pro will be on the upcoming Hulu series called Got to Get Out. The show is set to begin streaming in April.
“Finally! Excited for you to watch this craziness unfold,” Chmerkovskiy captioned a promo for the show on his Instagram Stories on Thursday, March 13.
In another post on his Instagram Stories, Chmerkovskiy wrote, “what people will say and do for $1 million is OUT OF CONTROL.”
It’s unclear exactly when Chmerkovskiy snuck away to film, but it may have been after the DWTS season wrapped.
The Prize Money That Val Chmerkovskiy Could Win Is $1 Million
Chmerkovskiy competed against other television stars — some seasoned, others not. They include Bachelorette Clare Crawley, Bachelor in Paradise star Demi Burnett, The Hills star Spencer Pratt, and Real Housewives star Kim Zolciak-Biermann (who was also on DWTS).
“Lies and lunacy collide in this competition series where a mix of reality icons and crafty gamers must conspire to get out. In this house, time is money. As the clock ticks up, so does the prize money. The longer they stay, the greater their chance to earn more. They can split the money equally in the end, or at any point, try to escape with the accumulated money all for themselves, leaving others to start again at $0,” reads the show synopsis from Deadline.
The prize pot sits at a whopping $1 million.

“Bro!!! Did you get out tho?” asked former “Dancing With the Stars” pro Mark Ballas. Chmerkovskiy replied that he couldn’t say and encouraged Ballas to tune in to the premiere. He also jokingly told Ballas not to call or text him, to which Ballas replied, “why aren’t you answering the phone?”
