He's related to a TOWIE OG

TOWIE returns to our screens later this week and there’s some big changes in store for fans. Not only is the show back on ITV2, where it first started, but we’re also getting two episodes a week instead of one – which means double the drama.
But they’re not the only changes being made as a new face is reportedly joining the show and if you’re a big reality TV fan then you might have seen him on you screens before.
Billy Childs, the brother of TOWIE OG Amy Childs, will be joining his sister and their cousin Harry Derbidge on the show 15 years after his family members rose to fame.

‘Over the last 15 years, TOWIE has always featured the cast’s family and friends,’ a TV insider told The Sun.
‘The cast and producers are happy that Amy’s brother has featured in the upcoming series.’
TOWIE won't be Billy's first reality TV rodeo as he previously appeared on It's All About Amy, his sister's fly-on-the-wall show that aired on Channel 5 in 2011 following her stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Speaking exclusively to Closer about series 36 at the ITV Reality showcase last week, Amy said, ‘If you want something to watch, drama, you’ll be emotional, you’ll be laughing, you’ll be like, ‘oh my God, what is going on?’, then you’ve got to watch TOWIE.’
Amy’s recently been through a tough time after her mum Julie had a heart attack and she’s revealed fans will be given a glimpse at her personal life on the show. ‘For me, it was a big thing of actually putting that on the show, but my mum wanted to talk about it and I think it’s also raising awareness as well.
