Tori Spelling fails to impress but sends out an inspiring message to her kids as she is eliminated from DWTS tram

Tori Spelling got emotional as she delivered a heartfelt message to her five kids during Tuesday's Oscars-themed episode of Dancing With The Stars.

Spelling, 51, and her pro dancer partner Pasha Pashkov performed the rumba to the song This Is Me from the acclaimed 2017 musical film The Greatest Showman.

The couple's dance received a score of 19 out of 30 which —when combined with last week's score of 17 — brought their grand total to 36 for both nights.

But it wasn't enough to save them from double elimination as they, along with fraudster Anna Delvey and partner Ezra Sosa, were voted off by viewers at home.

Despite the early defeat, Spelling made it clear in rehearsal footage that aired Tuesday that she was doing it all to inspire her kids after a tough few years.

She shares all five of her kids — Liam, 17, Stella, 16, Hattie, 12, Finn, 12, and Beau, seven — with ex-husband Dean McDermott, 57.

After 18 years of marriage, Spelling and McDermott split in June 2023 due to the continued strain his addiction issues put on their relationship.

Nine months later, Spelling officially filed for divorce and requested full legal and physical custody of their kids.

She told Dancing With The Stars viewers that The Greatest Showman has been an important film for her family as they navigate their new normal.

'It's our favorite movie as a family. Whenever any of us are going through hard times, if we put on that movie it gets us through,' she explained in confessional.

She then revealed that her daughters have been experiencing 'a lot' of bullying and that she hopes putting herself out there will inspire them.

'My girls have gone through a lot of bullying. This movie is an advocate for, like, 'believe in yourself.'' This is all about my family,' Spelling stressed.

'I want my kids to know, you can be anything you want to be.

'And I'm putting it all out there. This is me,' the blonde beauty concluded.

Spelling and Delvey were up for elimination alongside former Family Matters star Reginald VelJohson and partner Emma Slater.

In the end, it was Reginald and Emma who were declared safe leading to Anna and Tori's runs on the program coming to an end very early in the competition.

Some fans on X (formally Twitter) voiced their displeasure with the decision and even threatened to boycott the season.

One wrote: 'I'm about to stop watching Dancing With the Stars because HOW ARE ERIC AND REGINALD STILL IN. They can't move. At least Tori and Anna had potential.'

Tori was asked about her feelings after the elimination as she shared another inspiring message to her children.

She said: 'I love you. You can do anything you put your mind to.'

Anna's approach was the polar opposite as she was asked by host Julianne Hough what she will take away from the competition.

The con artist simply responded: 'Nothing.'

Days before Spelling's shock elimination, she shared photos of herself rehearsing at the Dancing With The Stars studios.

Spelling did the splits under the light-up 'DWTS' sign, gushing to fans that she 'loves' rehearsing for the show

'Splitting thru Saturday. Love my dance rehearsals with my partner in dance @pashapashkov #dwts #dancingwiththestars @dancingwiththestars,' she captioned the post.

The starlet was confirmed to be in the 33rd season of the hit show earlier this month alongside supermodel Brooks Nader, Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik and RHOA alum Phaedra Parks, among other famous faces.

During a cast appearance on Good Morning America, Spelling gushed over the opportunity to put on her dancing shoes and explained that she had been asked to appear many times in the past, but was unsure of the commitment.

She explained: 'I always wanted to do it. It's been one of my life long dreams. I have always too scared

'I figured at this point in my life, everything happens for a reason at the right time. I'm going to push through my fear and do it.'

Spelling explained that her former 90210 castmate Brian Green had offered some tips, telling the star 'believe in yourself'.

Meanwhile, Spelling added that she knew her late co-star Shannen Doherty 'will be watching'.

'She always said you got to turn your power on. So I'm doing it now,' Spelling remarked.
