A surprising Love Is Blind alumni cast member has been called out for auditioning to be on Lifetime Network's Married at First Sight first. Love Is Blind season 6 wrapped up in mid-March 2024, after premiering on Valentine's Day 2024. It was a hugely successful season for the franchise, which has been around since February 2020 and has blown up into an international spectacle. Married at First Sight season 17 finished airing in mid-April 2024, and the last few seasons have been a letdown for fans.

The Married at First Sight and Love Is Blind fans also pointed out that Kinetic Content operates both shows and that they may not have liked Kwame for Married at First Sight but did so for Love Is Blind. Were Kwame to have been selected for MAFS, he would have appeared in season 10, which aired from January 2020 to April 2020. Kwame's season of Love Is Blind season 4 aired from March 2023 to September 2023.
