The Men on ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Were an Utterly Disgraceful Bunch of Seasoned Liars liennhi

Every single season of Love Is Blind has the odd red flag men. But viewers surely didn’t expect to be served with a preposterous bunch of liars like the men on Love Is Blind Season 8. Save for Daniel Hastings, every single male contestant was incredibly problematic and sketchy in the latest installment. It turns out that a majority of them were putting up a front for the cameras while subjecting the female contestants to their problematic behavior off-screen. During the reunion, the women called out their exes for being clout-chasers, two-timers, and downright sketchy.

It was revealed that Ben Mezzenga was on the show for the wrong reasons, and Devin Buckley’s political views were a lot more problematic than was projected. Joey Leveille eventually did Monica Danús dirty by sliding into another female contestant’s DM’s, and Alex Brown may not have been the green flag viewers thought he was. A common factor among all the men on Love Is Blind Season 8 is the ease with which they lie through their teeth with a straight face until the women brought out receipts and witnesses to prove their point. Moreover, upon zooming out, it becomes evident that the men had the lingering stench of male chauvinism reeking from their persona.

The Men on ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Have No Remorse

The male contestants’ behavior during the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion was a tell-tale sign that they had no remorse for how they ill-treated and deceived their partners. While each woman reflected and spilled on everything they’d uncovered about their partners during and after the show, the men grew defensive rather than fessing up to their crimes.

One may argue that the men were being wrongly accused despite the women citing clear proof and having a set of witnesses to back their claims. However, the men didn’t stand a fighting chance to redeem themselves since they backtracked on their initial story and started fumbling for words to respond to the accusations. Eventually, when they couldn’t muster a logical explanation, they proceeded to gaslight their former partners.

All of the ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 8 Men Are Pathological Liars

Watching the men lie with so much ease was hard to watch during the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion. Monica accused Joey of sliding into Madison Errichiello’s DM’s, and he vehemently denied that his intentions transcended anything beyond platonic. However, Monica spilled that Joey had alleged that Madison was coming on to him, which eventually led the women to have an honest conversation, confront him, and demand an explanation. Backed into a corner, Joey lied about having said anything of that sort despite the women revealing that they’d gotten him to confess to spreading a false narrative.

Similarly, Ben and Sara had planned to live together in Nashville for three months while the latter finished up some work. Sara drove down and was expecting Ben to fly there to move in with her. However, to her disbelief, he removed her from “find my friends” and offered her a meek apology the moment she arrived. When Sara revealed this information during the reunion, Ben alleged that they had ended their relationship before she moved. The women backed Sara up, revealing that this wasn’t true and that Ben indeed promised to move to Nashville with Sara. Alex, too, denied DMing Madison and throwing shade at Mason Horacek, but she pulled out screenshots of their conversation, exposing Alex’s lies almost immediately.

Except for Daniel Hastings, None of Them Were Ready for Marriage

Daniel was the only man with redeeming qualities on Love Is Blind Season 8. He’s so devoted to his wife that he even got her eyes tattooed across his chest! The rest of the men, however, are a whole other story. It became evident that they lacked eleven an ounce of emotional maturity. David revealed that it was only after he’d gotten to know the guy Lauren O’Brien had hooked up with in the past that he realized he was a clout-chaser.
