Angela won big in philanthropy but lost out in connecting with the other ladies, and she even managed to alienate her husband, former NBA star Charles Oakley. Angela used the event to confront Phaedra Parks for allegedly staging rumors about her husband cheating, but instead of getting to the bottom of the allegations, she ended up with egg on her face and a pissed-off husband. Honoring Porsha Williams, the woman who threatened to sleep with her husband earlier in the season, was a weak attempt to extend an olive branch, which Porsha threw back in her face later that evening. The entire event seemed as disjointed as the season and left Angela further on the outs with the rest of the women than ever before.

Shamea Morton's Solo Performance Was Lackluster At Best

Playing a close second to Angela's gala was Shamea's solo concert, which turned out to be one of the most cringy moments this season. Between a lackluster vocal performance and sketchy stage presence, the overall consensus was that Shamea needed to spend more on vocal coaching and choreography before making her industry debut. Drew joked that her mic should've been off while Brit offered her a sympathetic "E" for effort. Much like Angela's gala, the event seemed rushed and made for TV as opposed to authentic and well-attended.

Porsha Refused To Take Accountability for Her Failed MarriagePorsha Williams in gold in confessional on 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta.'

After an entire season of filming everywhere except her home, Porsha filmed one closing scene where she can be seen gloating in the marital home she allegedly purchased with her estranged husband, Simon Guobadia. In her confessional, she acknowledged their assets would probably be split down the middle. Porsha's inability to assume accountability for poaching the wrong African sugar Daddy has left a bad taste in the mouths of her fans. The entire season, she tiptoed around the situation, expecting sympathy for her alleged heartbreak from a divorce that could've been avoided if she'd left Falyn Guobadia's husband where she found him.

There Is Drama to Go Around in RHOA Season 16

A very awkward final conversation between Drew and her cohabitating estranged husband, Ralph Pittman, was added to give Drew some much-needed closure to a chaotic season filled with untruths and avoidance. After hurling accusations at one another all season, Ralph sits down at the piano, and the two agree to co-parent peacefully. Drew spent the majority of season 16 as an outsider, visibly unsure of her place in the group but determined not to back down. Her stubborn attitude and consistently deceitful narrative made it difficult to advocate for her role in the franchise.

Kelli Ferrell's final scene involved her daughters and a complicated explanation of why her divorce wasn't finalized but instead is holding up her progress towards expanding her chicken and waffles empire. It's clear that there's more to Kelli's divorce than she admits, but there hasn't been time to invest in her as a personality. Instead of showing authenticity regarding her divorce and business, Kelli focuses on keeping audiences distracted with outfits. She started the season with her bestie, Brit, but before mid-season, the two had become staunch enemies, and the finale solidifies the fact that their friendship is over.
