The Bachelor’s Grant Ellis Sparks Excitement with DWTS Season 34 Announcement trucc

Dancing With the Stars” has yet to announce the complete list of celebrity competitors for Season 34, which means there have been plenty of opportunities for fans to speculate about who could be cast on the upcoming show. The latest name to be associated with DWTS is Grant Ellis, the star of “The Bachelor” Season 29.

Grant Ellis Discusses Potentially Joining DWTS Season 34

Ellis, who has 178,000 followers on Instagram, recently made an Instagram Live video in which he discussed his potential casting on the ABC dance competition, Parade reports. There has been no confirmation from Ellis or producers on whether his statement was factual or if he was creating a bit of a frenzy. However, the publication notes that fans have taken to Reddit to share their thoughts.

Ellis has demonstrated his dancing skills before, and he has impressive moves, but what do fans think about him taking part in the competition? On a Reddit thread dedicated to “Dancing With the Stars,” a fan posted a screenshot from the live stream. They titled the post “Bachelor Grant Ellis just revealed on his live he is in talks to be on DWTS.”

The post has created a lot of chatter. “Openly talking about it before it’s officially announced will very likely get him dropped,” one person wrote. “Is he even allowed to say that?” another person questioned. Indeed, there is usually great secrecy surrounding the casting.

There have also been comments about how Ellis’ “The Bachelor” Season 29 finale ended, and some fans were unhappy with the outcome. So, could being cast on DWTS give Ellis a chance to show fans a different side of himself?

Grant Ellis Says He Is ‘Open’ To Joining ‘Dancing With the Stars’

This is not the first time Ellis has discussed DWTS. He has previously expressed his openness to being included on the show. In an interview with Parade on May 27, 2025, he said, “I’m open to it, 100 percent.”

He continued, “I would love to do that. And I would love for people to see that fun side of me. I love to make people smile, so I think that’s something I would do.”

Fans of “Dancing With the Stars” know that there have been many Bachelor Nation alums on the show, and some of them have been incredibly impressive. “The Bachelorette” star Kaitlyn Bristowe won Season 29. “The Bachelor” alum Joey Graziadei took home the Mirrorball Trophy in Season 33 alongside Jenna Johnson. And Hannah Brown won in Season 28 (she recently made a statement about the win and how she felt). Other popular contestants include Jenn Tran, Gabby Windey, and Melissa Rycroft.
