Her once more rounded face shape seems to have given way to chiselled cheek bones and a full pout prompting some of her social media followers to comment on her "new face".

Back in 2018, the ex Coronation Street and My Girl actress, who is married to TV star Mark Wright, insisted that she hadn't had any plastic surgery but wouldn't rule it out, saying: "never say never!"

Now, six years on, could the Mancunian starlet have finally succumbed to the surgeon's knife?

Dr Hassan Galadari, aesthetic doctor at Galadari Clinic, hasn't carried out procedures on Michelle, but speaking from experience - and using his trained eye - he suggests she may well have had "work" done.

"Botox is one possibility, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles without altering her face too drastically, giving her that refreshed glow," he explains.

But Dr David Hill, owner of Fulcrum Aesthetics & Surgery, points out that "lighting, make-up, and even weight fluctuations can completely alter how someone looks".

"And with the prevalence of filters on social media, especially among celebrities, it’s entirely possible that any changes in her appearance are purely digital," he explains.

"Whether Michelle has had any procedures or not, the focus should always be on feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin.

"Everyone has the right to make choices that help them feel their best."

Speculation over Michelle's appearance was fuelled by a recent video she posted on TikTok whilst getting ready for a girls' night.

Michelle Keegan left red faced as co-star flashes behind her live on TV

One comment read: "I would not have known this was her without the caption….it's like a completely new face."

"She looks stunning but not like Michelle Keegan at all!" another added, with some fans claiming she was "unrecognisable".

"Wow, new face?" another asked.

Responding to claims that Michelle was "gorgeous before" one wrote: "Give it a rest!"

Whether or not there's any truth to the surgery rumours remains to be seen but Michelle has some clever yet simple beauty tricks which could contribute to her "new" look.

Here, we reveal what they are - they're so simple, you can try them too...

Budget-friendly lip 'cheat'

One of the most drastic differences in Michelle's appearance over the years is arguably her lips.

Photos of the star when she first stepped onto the Corrie cobbles as Tina McIntyre in 2008 show her top lip looking noticeably thinner.

And Dr Galani thinks she may well have had some cosmetic filler to boost her pout.

"Over time, both her lips and her cheekbones appear more defined, which could be the result of dermal fillers, adding volume where needed to maintain a youthful contour," he says.

What are the risks of lip fillers?

THE RISKS of dermal fillers depend on whether the procedure was done correctly and the type of filler used.

The NHS recommends you speak to your practitioner about the risks beforehand.

Serious problems are rare but can include:

  • Infection
  • A lumpy appearance under the skin, which might need to be treated with surgery or medicine
  • The filler moving away from the intended treatment area, which may need to be removed using surgery
  • Scarring
  • Blocked blood vessels in the face, which can cause tissue death and permanent blindness

You should see your GP if you have any complications that need medical attention and speak to your practitioner if you're not happy with the results or experience lumpiness.

But in her girls' night out TikTok videoMichelle shared the make-up trick she relies on to give herself a fuller smile.

The clip showed the stunning star using lipliner to overline her lips, particularly her top lip - giving the illusion that they are much fuller than they actually are.

It's believed Michelle uses Charlotte Tilbury's £21 Lip Cheat lipliners, as well as the Vieve's Lip Dew in the shade Rose.

Her go-to make-up artist Emily Clarkson also recently revealed that she uses NYX Butter Gloss on the Brassic star to further enhance her lips.

It's another budget favourite, and costs from just £6.50 in high street stores such as Boots and Superdrug.

Brow freeze favourite

Weighing in on a recent photo of Michelle on TikTok, one follower suggested that one of her eyebrows appeared higher than the other, writing "Stunning but one eyebrow is raised more".

A difference in the height of brows - so-called 'brow peaking' - can actually be a common Botox side effect which happens when the product spreads to the outer portion of the muscle on just one side of the face.

But Michelle is also a fan microblading, a semi-permanent treatment which involves a tiny colour tool which mimics the natural direction and length of brows.

Michelle is said to have the treatment with Laura Ciordas, a Phi Brows expert in London.

She also uses Brow Freeze from Anastasia Beverly Hills, which you can pick up for just £13 on Look Fantastic.

Queen of contouring

Another surgery rumour which rumbles on centres around Michelle's nose which looks slimmer and more defined than it did previously.

“She has definitely had a rhinoplasty, as the tip of her nose looks a lot more refined and is not drooping as much as in the old photos," plastic surgeon Dr Navid Jallali said recently.

It's also rumoured that Michelle has had a nose job, which she has previously denied

Another possibility is that she may have had a non-surgical nose job, which involves using filler to smooth out lumps and bumps on the nose

However, another possibility is that Michelle may have had a non- surgical rhinoplasty.

This procedure is liked by those who don't want to go under the knife, and uses dermal filler to get rid of any bumps whilst shaping the tip of the nose. Results can last up to six months.

Michelle is also a huge fan of Benefit's £26 Hoola bronzer, which she uses for contouring - clever trickery used by celebs and even make up amateurs to change the shape of their features.

Ditching the tea and coffee

While composite bonding and veneers are hugely popular in the world of celebrity teeth, Michelle has always maintained that she's never had any work on her gnashers.

In an interview with Alan Carr in 2015, Michelle said: "Just to say… I have 100 per cent not had my teeth done...

"They are MY teeth. So I'll take that as a compliment. Thanks!"

However, The Sun Online previously revealed that Michelle and husband Mark both underwent secret Invisalign treatment to get straighter teeth.

The process involves using an almost invisible brace and costs upwards of £5,000.

The man behind their stunning smiles is Dr Luk Athwal, who has also treated Mark’s sister Jess and other TOWIE stars, sharing the process on his social media pages.

Michelle also previously told Cosmopolitan magazine that she regularly whitens her teeth with at-home kits.

"My sister is a dental nurse so she comes home with teeth whitening kits," she said.

"It's like a gum shield which you put gel in and you wear it overnight for twice a week. I do mine maybe once a year."

In order to maintain her pearly white gnashers, Michelle also tries to avoid tea, coffee, red wine and curries.

Clever boob-friendly styling

And it isn't just Michelle's face that captures the attention of adoring fans - her incredible figure does too.

According to the laws of the 'Golden Ratio', Michelle is the celebrity with the best breasts in the world.

The system, developed by the ancient Greeks, measures physical perfection, and sees the ideal breast proportion as 45:55.

This is where 45 per cent of the breast would be above the nipple (upper pole) and 55 per cent below the nipple (lower pole).

And, according to Mr. Allen Rezai, Consultant Plastic Surgeon, Michelle's boobs are a perfect 45:55.

Mr Rezai says that Michelle's ratio "provides a natural breast appearance".

"It is in proportion to her slim and petite figure," he adds.

But in a previous interview, Michelle said that her boobs are "all nature's work".

"I'm conscious of my boobs because I've always been small and my boobs have always been big," she said.

"I usually hide them away, you'll only see my cleavage in a bikini!"

In 2014, again faced with speculation about her appearance, a spokesperson for Michelle vehemently denied the actress had undergone a breast enhancement operation.

But one thing Michelle has done over the years is perfect the art of dressing in the most flattering way for her body shape.

"I’ve never really worn anything too boob-y. I’ve always had big boobs and, when I was younger, Mum would say ‘Don’t be shy, embrace it’," she told Cosmopolitan magazine.

"What I’ve learnt over the years – especially being in the public eye – is you have to feel comfortable in an outfit to be confident, otherwise it shows."

Michelle recently appeared alongside Richard Armitage and Joanna Lumley in Netflix crime series Fool Me Once.

She's expected to next appear on the small screen in Ten Pound Poms, a drama about British citizens who migrated to Australia after the Second World War.
