Teddi Mellencamp is “concerned” about Shep Rose’s love-life choices.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum explained her position in the March 20 installment of Two T’s in a Pod, her pop culture podcast series with The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Tamra Judge. Toward the beginning of the episode, Teddi shared more details about her recent reunion with the Southern Charm-er, whom she's known since childhood.
Teddi gave Shep dating advice during their recent reunion
Teddi confirmed she and Shep had met up in Encino, California, just a month after she under went brain surgery.
“So he drove himself from South Carolina to see you?” Tamra asked with a laugh.
Teddi clarified Shep had traveled about half an hour from Venice Beach, where he had been “hanging out” with some friends, including Shahs of Sunset’s Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi.
“One night, he went to dinner with GG,” Teddi revealed, prompting Tamra to ask if the pair were romantically involved. “No, I’m not saying it’s a romance. I’m just saying one night, they went out. Then we get into talking where I’m like, ‘OK, here’s the deal, Shep: We’re not going to just fall for young people and take them on trips and love bomb them, and we’re not going to do it.'"
Teddi says there's a new lady in Shep's life: "I'm just concerned"
It was clear Teddi was referencing Shep’s relationship with Sienna Evans, the former Miss Bahamas he dated in 2024.
“Then within 10 seconds he’s like, ‘Oh, Teddi, you’re gonna get annoyed,’” she continued. “And I said, ‘Why?’ And he goes, ‘I already met somebody that I’ve decided to have meet me on my next trip.’ I go, ‘So, you went on one date and now you’re flying her on a trip?’”
Tamra then questioned how old the mystery lady was.
“Significantly younger than us, Tam,” Teddi said before admitting she went through the woman’s Instagram. “I know I did some thirst traps, but there was a lot of bathing suit shots. I’m just concerned with Shep’s picker.”
Tamra weighs in on Shep's approach to dating
Tamra echoed her co-host and questioned if Shep was looking for a lifelong partner.
“[Shep’s] picker seems to be off, but I think that he — to me — seems, like, just a professional bachelor,” the OC Housewife said. “This guy’s 45 years old. He doesn’t even really talk too much about getting married. He’s dating girls that are half his age — or at least close to that — in different countries. I don’t think he’s looking for forever. I think he’s looking for a right now.”
