Taylor Ann Green Announces Southern Charm Departure After 4 Seasons: ‘I Will Forever Be Thankful’ tram

Another Southern belle has bowed out.

Nearly three weeks after Leva Bonaparte announced she won’t be returning to Southern Charm, Taylor Ann Green shared that she, too, will be stepping away from the Bravo series following season 10’s conclusion.

“After a lot of conversations and thought this past year, it is with a heavy but peaceful heart to announce that I will be stepping away from Southern Charm next year,” Green, 31, wrote on Instagram Monday, April 14. “These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the most crazy but exciting times of my life. I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, bravo family and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today.”

Green called her time on the show a “wild rollercoaster” and described leaving as “bittersweet.” The reality star stated that she plans to focus on her new company, Reset Athletic, going forward.

“Thank you again to everyone who has loved and supported me throughout this journey and another grand cheers to the greatest ones out there @nbc @bravotv @haymaker.east & @bravoandy for an exceptional reality TV ride✨,” she continued. “All my love🤍.”

Green first appeared on Southern Charm as a friend in season 7 when she started dating Shep Rose before officially joining the cast the following season. Green and Rose’s relationship played out on the show until they broke up in summer 2022 after two years together.Shep Rose and Taylor Ann Green
Green found herself in the center of the drama in season 9 after she lied to her best friend Olivia Flowers about kissing her ex Austen Kroll, a friend of Rose’s. Green called lying to Flowers, 31, her biggest regret on the show.

“My biggest regret is the coffee shop scene and not telling Olivia the truth right away,” she told PEOPLE ahead of season 10’s premiere in December. “But I definitely hope to see that there are some moments [this season] where people can see that what happened last year was a mistake — it's not who I am — and see a different side of me.”

The Bravo star has since started dating Southern Hospitality star Gaston Rojas.

“It's completely different from any relationship I've ever been in,” Green, whose brother Richard died in June 2023 at age 36, told PEOPLE. “I finally feel like an equal, and this is actually real because we're talking about the next steps, and in order to climb those next steps, what is to be expected within a relationship. If his friends ask him to go golfing, his first thought is, ‘Let me check with Taylor, make sure we're not doing anything this weekend.’ Every decision that he makes, I'm priority. I take precedence.”

Green explained that her clothing line Reset Athletic marks her “pushing that reset button” in her life.

“After leaving my job and the breakup and losing a friend, losing my brother, I feel like I couldn't find my feet,” she said. “Feeling like I was in such a rut, I found myself waiting for things to come to me and talking with my therapist and saying ‘I don't feel normal, and I know I'm grieving a lot, but I want to get back to normal.’ So finding this and has been really, really great because I'm starting to feel normal again. It feels really good to be busy and have something day-to-day, things to keep me accountable. I'm excited for it.”
