The Strictly Come Dancing festive special winner has hinted she would love to return to the dance floor for a full series of the BBC One show.
What did you miss?
Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas special winner Tayce has hinted that she may reappear on the dance floor for the main series later in the year.
Tayce was the first Drag artist to appear in the BBC contest and lifted the winners' trophy with partner Kai Widdrington in the festive episode which aired on Christmas Day. Now, she has told Loose Women she may follow in the footsteps of previous Christmas winners including JB Gill and Jamie Borthwick by joining the main cast.
Meanwhile, Widdrington revealed the struggles he had been through at school with being bullied for his love of ballroom dancing.
What, how, and why?
Strictly's Christmas contestants have an established history of joining the main BBC One show after getting a taste for dancing, with the 2024 cast including previous festive winners JB Gill and Jamie Borthwick.
Now, the 2024 Strictly Christmas winner Tayce has hinted she could be planning to follow tradition and get back in the ballroom for a full series of the contest.
Tayce, the first Drag artist to compete in the show, told Loose Women on Friday "never say never" and then teased she would be back on TV later in 2025.
Asked whether she would return for a full Strictly series, Tayce replied: "Never say never. You never know, I might be there, I might not be, who knows."
Pressed on what her plans were for 2025, she added: "You never know, you might see me back on the screen again, who knows, who knows."
Tayce described the win as "amazing, a pinch-me moment, an absolute dream come true," and shared her lifelong love of dance.
She said: "I've always danced, but I've never done anything like Latin or ballroom, so to get my hand at that was gorgeous."
"At seven years old I was dancing around at New Year's Eve performing to Kylie and Dannii Minogue with a little remote control as a microphone," she continued. "So then dancing to Kylie and Dannii on the show was full circle. (My parents) came and watched, they were crying, they were living it up and it was such a moment in time."
Tayce and Widdrington said they had taken training very seriously as Tayce shared: "I've loved to dance always, so I thought we're not going to mess around, we're going to go in and get it, and that's what we did."
What did Kai Widdrington say on Loose Women?
Kai Widdrington is a Strictly fan favourite in the pro cast, but admitted he had struggled to overcome bullying for his love of ballroom dancing when he was at school.
He said: "I was the annoyingly sporty kid, good at everything, who also did ballroom dancing. Back 10, 15 years ago, it wasn't really the cool thing to do and you'd get the mickey taken out of you.
"Like Tayce but in a totally different way, you deal with adversity and people bullying you but you've got to come through that."
Widdrington added that he was hoping to tackle attitudes by working with former Strictly partner Angela Rippon on a campaign called Let's Dance to have dancing put into the school curriculum.
Loose Women airs on ITV1 at 12:30pm on weekdays.
