The MAFS UK golden couple made it past a year, but it wasn't meant to be for Tasha and Paul. We look at what she's been up to since the show, and what's in store for their future
After the explosive MAFS UK reunion the question remains - will Tasha and Paul find their way back to each other?
The reunion was an emotional one for many of the stars, with many fans hoping for answers, they were instead left second guessing whether Tasha and Paul's romance could be rekindled. But since the breakup, there are a few gaps we’d all love to be filled in.
Tasha Jay, 27 and Paul Liba were MAFS UK season 8's dream couple. Their time on the show was smooth sailing and they were the only couple to continue their relationship after the show, even moving in together in May 2024.

However in November 2024 fans were shocked after the couple revealed they split up, insisting there wasn’t any particular reason they had come to terms that they are not right for each other.
Tasha spoke highly of Paul saying “Paul is the loveliest guy I’ve ever met and I’m grateful for the time we’ve shared together and I’m that we can remain friends.”
The news came after the then couple told The Sun they would be open to having another wedding, with Tasha making it clear she was waiting for Paul to make the step and it is down to him. “As soon as she asked the question, I said oh no.. she's ready, she’s been annoying me with the ring,” Paul joked.
Since the show, Tasha has remained an active presence on social media, keeping fans informed about her daily life while showing her expressive side through funny videos.
Beyond her life experiences, she has been vocal about having type 1 diabetes where she has opened up about the challenges she faces with controlling her blood sugar levels. While this wasn't shown on the show, she is determined to use her platform to spread awareness.
After the break up Tasha didn’t hold back, in a video she posted reflecting on her previous relationships, she made her feelings clear “I left my husband because he was about as exciting as thrush.” she said
“He's a lovely person, he's nice but that's all he is, he’s boring. I need more than just a nice guy. I need me a bad man. Best way to describe it is, he’s salt and pepper, I'm all purpose, mixed herbs, jerk seasoning and he can't even spell jerk seasoning,” she said while laughing.
She also explained during her relationship she wasn’t her usual self, and while they ended things really well, but Paul wanted to speak to the press and that was the final straw.
Paul however claimed the relationship ended due to the distance. Speaking at an event he said “My issue was figuring out if Tasha was the right person to move up North for. I'd say if we lived in London it might be easier, but to sacrifice my life and drop everything for her is a big move and I just wasn't sure about it. And that was the issue.”
He admitted he was open to finding love again, adding: "Being with Tash didn't work out and I have no bad words to say about her, but she made me realise that I enjoy being loved and I enjoy looking for love and I just want to find the right person. Like someone to cuddle at night, someone to stop me going out, someone to tell me I am amazing.”
Which is why it wasn't a total surprise when it was announced that Paul was dating another MAFS UK star - Hannah Norburn from series 9. The couple are believed to have been dating for a while now and there was more to come out in the reunion, however the attention was focused on Paul and Tasha.
Tasha was emotional from the start of the show, with tears flowing in less than a minute of Paul arriving to the retreat. She was visibly emotional throughout their conversation, explaining she didn’t feel she was giving him what he needed and the same with him.
When they were asked if they would rekindle their relationship, Paul said: "I'll say with chest, if you asked me before I saw Tasha today, I would have said it's done. But I've seen her today and obviously, I'm still smiling and I genuinely have no answer to say. It's so up in the air." Tasha then said it was similar for her and 'her head is messed up'.
Despite the emotional tension between the pair, it appears they have kept in touch after fans notice she watched the reunion alongside Series 9's Holly Ditchfield while on facetime to Paul.
However Tasha finished by saying to the camera “I still love him, but it’s a different type of feeling.” This leaves the fans questioning, could they give it another shot or was this just reuinon drama?
