"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum Teddi Mellencamp shared she does not want Tamra Judge to quit “Real Housewives of Orange County.”
During the March 13 episode of their podcast, “Two Ts In a Pod,” Mellencamp asked Judge about leaving RHOC during the production of its 19th season. Mellencamp referenced that she was recovering from brain surgery when Judge seemed to announce on Instagram she was exiting the Bravo series.
“What are you doing Tamra? I go and I get some brain tumors and you go and decide to quit the show,” said Mellencamp to her podcast co-host.
When Judge said she is “doing the best [she] can do,” Mellencamp replied, “No one likes a quitter.” Judge then said she is going through several personal matters, including being upset about Mellencamp’s cancer diagnosis, causing her to have some difficulty with filming RHOC. Judge also said that while she does not “want to be a quitter,” she wants to prioritize her mental health over being an RHOC star.
“I’ll figure it out,” said Judge.
Mellencamp then jokingly said she is annoyed that she will have to recap season 19 of RHOC on “Two Ts In A Pod.”
“I don’t want to have to go through a whole season of justifying why Tamra quit,” said Mellencamp on the podcast episode.
Mellencamp also said that Judge should have shared her personal issues on camera. In addition, she told her podcast listeners to “send [her] flowers” if Judge returns to RHOC.
Tamra Judge Seemed to Reference She Was Quitting RHOC in a Different Podcast Episode
TODAY reported that Judge posted an Instagram Story on March 9, in which she suggested that she was quitting RHOC while filming season 19. Judge started filming for the show during its 3rd season. She then left in 2020. However, she came back to the series during its 17th season.
Judge seemed to reference leaving RHOC during the March 12 episode of “Two Ts In a Pod.” She said that she believed she “just hit a wall” and has been depressed. She said she has been going through several personal issues, including dealing with Mellencamp’s February 2025 tumor diagnosis.
“There’s so much going on in my life,” said Judge during the podcast episode.
She also said that she has not been able to “pull [herself] out of the funk.”
“2025 has been a real doozy. It’s just been one thing after another,” said Judge.
She then shared that Mellencamp recently “gave [her] a pep talk” about leaving RHOC.
“That is like the first time I’ve laughed in so long. Like, we laughed, and she just yelled at me and said, ‘Listen to me, I have to be bald and fat right now and going through this. You get your [expletive] back over there.’ I just started laughing,” said Judge while recording the podcast episode.
Andy Cohen Reacted to Reports of Tamra Judge Quitting RHOC
According to TODAY, Bravo producer Andy Cohen reacted to reports that Judge quit RHOC. On the March 10 episode of his radio show, “Andy Cohen Live,” he said he “got the report of what happened last night.”
“All I will say is this. I can’t comment on what’s going on while we’re filming shows,” said Cohen on his radio show.
He also noted that Mellencamp, who is “one of her best friends,” “is going through an incredibly intense health crisis.”
