The RHOC star 'threw a tantrum' during her latest cast trip after a heated confrontation with her arch nemesis
TAMRA Judge quit RHOC after getting into a ‘shouting match’ with nemesis Gretchen Rossi on a cast trip to New Orleans, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal.
Despite confirming she was “done” with the Bravo show for good, there is one reason that the controversial star will “most likely” return.
This week, the Real Housewives of Orange County cast are down in New Orleans, Louisiana for their season 19 cast trip.
Tamra, 57, was joined by fellow RHOC co-stars Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Shannon Beador, Katie Ginella and Jennifer Pedranti - as well as former rival and returning friend-of, Gretchen.
Photos leaked of the cast filming in the streets of New Orleans - including a tense scene where Tamra was having a heavy conversation with Shannon and Gretchen.
Just a couple hours after those pictures surfaced online, Tamra rashly posted on her Instagram Stories that she was “out” and done with the show forever.
Fans were shocked by the abrupt announcement - though many are skeptical if she is actually done with TV or if this is a ploy for ratings.
A source close to production provided more context, and told The U.S. Sun: "Tamra quit in the middle of the New Orleans trip with the girls.
“It was just after filming an emotional scene that turned into a heated discussion and then a shouting match with Gretchen and Shannon.
“Ultimately, Tamra can dish it but she can't take it which longtime viewers well know.
“She's overreacting and throwing a tantrum like a child because she isn't getting her way.”
The insider claimed that “nothing big enough to quit actually happened” - and alleged that Tamra is “seeking attention and it looks like she's gotten it.”
“She said she's done for good but if the money is right, she will be back,” they added.
Tamra and Gretchen have had a rocky history - which dates back to 2008 when Gretchen first appeared on RHOC during season four.
The two butted heads all season but their tension came to an ultimate head when Tamra vowed to get a then-engaged Gretchen “naked wasted” around her son, Ryan.
The scene has remained a dark cloud in the RHOC franchise and has recently resurfaced - leaving fans enraged with Tamra’s behavior.
Gretchen touched on this moment as last season was airing - posting a scathing response when a fan asked how she felt about Tamra’s behavior during last season of the show.
“I think it’s sad she’s been getting away with harming so many people for years now. It seems like she can never be loyal to anyone (especially her so-called friends).
“I believe the only thing she has ever been loyal to is her paycheck. She will destroy your character, your livelihood, your businesses etc. under the guise of claiming she is just a ‘truth teller.’ It’s gross and not okay.”
She added in the same statement: “Oh and try speaking the actual truth about her. Because from my experience, she will go on a witch hunt and try and destroy you.
“In my opinion, she is evil, manipulative and conniving. I saw exactly who she was back then and was never afraid to call her out.
“It seems the audience is finally realizing what I always knew about her.”
ORANGE YOU MAD?
Tamra shocked the Bravo-verse late Sunday night when she took to Instagram and shared a cryptic post: "It was a long run!
"When life gives you real problems this reality s**t doesn’t make sense. Peace out … I’m out!”
Fans were instantly concerned, with one fan account sharing her post and asking if this was confirmation that she had “quit".
Tamra then responded to the post which asked "Is Tamra quitting?" with “Yes!!!".
But fans aren't convinced, with one person saying: "Will believe it when I see it it,” while another added: "I’m not buying it. She needs this check and is obsessed with being a housewife and the fame/attention that comes with it.”
Tamra has been part of RHOC since season three and if she had completed this season of filming - it would’ve made her the longest-running Housewife of all time.
