STRICTLY Come Dancing pro Nadiya Bychkova has broken her silence after a nasty fall in rehearsals sent her to hospital.
The popular show star, 35, was practicing ahead of the upcoming series when she fell and landed on her back.
Alongside a picture of her in a hospital bed, she wrote: "Well… where do I start? What a 24 hours!
"Thank you so much for all the messages, love and support. I just wanted you to know that I am ok.
"I had a fall in training yesterday and landed on my back. I was really worried for a while and I was so thankful to the Strictly family and medical team who really looked after me."
She praised the "kind and caring" hospital staff, before revealing the smile on her face in the picture didn't reflect the emotions she'd experienced in the hours prior.
"I’m smiling in the picture but it was really scary and there were a few tears as I had to lie still for hours but I was given the all-clear after an x-ray and allowed to go home," she wrote.
"I’ve got some physio today but I will be back on that dance floor soon and I’ll be ready to shine and sparkle in the new series of the biggest show on TV.
"I can’t wait for you to see it.
"Keep dancing!"
Nadiya is tipped to be partnered with ex-England rugby hunk Chris Robshaw for the new series.
The former captain, 39, is almost 6ft 2ins tall, and the Ukrainian dancer is the only pro who can come close to matching his stature.
An insider said of the fall: “It looked pretty nasty and no one was taking any chances. The Strictly crew rushed into action and she was stretchered out.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 12:37pm on Tuesday 12 August to reports of an incident at Regent’s Park Road, NW1. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene and treated one person before taking them to hospital.”

Alex Kingston - Actress Alex has joined the line-up and his hoping to emulate the success of her friend Sarah Hadland last year. She is best known for shows like Doctor Who, EastEnders and ER.
Dani Dyer: Rising to fame as the winner of Love Island in 2018, Dani has remained in the public eye with various TV appearances. The daughter of actor Danny Dyer, she's reportedly agreed to take part.
