Strictly Come Dancing star Max George has confirmed he's returning to the hospital for a checkup after undergoing heart surgery.
The Wanted singer revealed that he was admitted to hospital after suffering with "heart issues" earlier this month, with doctors subsequently discovering an atrioventricular block in his heart.
The star had a pacemaker fitted during surgery to correct the problem just before Christmas, and confirmed on December 27 that he had returned home for the festive season following a successful surgery.
In a new health update shared to Instagram yesterday (December 30), George revealed that he's going back to the hospital for a checkup regarding his pacemaker so the doctors can figure out specifics around a "flicking" sensation he's been experiencing.
"Hey guys, hope you're good. Just a little update, and – well actually, a question for those of you that have been in touch that have had a pacemaker done," he shared in the video.
"I'm in the hospital tomorrow for another checkup because I've been getting this flicking feeling in the left-hand side of my chest. I'm actually getting it now. And I was wondering if you guys maybe knew what that might be, or [if] you've experienced it yourself, because the doctors aren't too sure."
George continued: "So hopefully it'll be... you know, maybe it's touching a nerve and it'll go away in time, or they may have to move the wire slightly.
"But I'm all ears, because all I'm doing at the moment is doing research and stuff, because I know nothing about pacemakers – this came completely out of the blue.
"So any information that I can get would be much appreciated."
