Strictly Come Dancing star declares 'we're back' as update issued months before 2025 series liennhi

Summer may be in full swing but it's hard for Strictly Come Dancing fans not to think about the sparkling autumn ahead with the return of the hit dance show.

The BBC One dance contest will be waltzing it’s way back onto screens in just a few months time for another series bringing joy, laughter and a serious amount of dance to audiences all across the UK.

It was back in April that the BBC confirmed the professional dancer line-up for the 2025 series, with the celebrity line-up still to come in due course.

For the upcoming series, professional dancers Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones, Neil Jones, Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez and Luba Mushtuk will take to the floor once more.

They'll also be joined by Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Aljaž Škorjanec, Kai Widdrington, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu, Lauren Oakley, Michelle Tsiakkas and Vito Coppola.

And when the pro line-up was confirmed, it was also revealed that two brand new professional dancers will be making their debut, with them set to be revealed closer to the return of the show. 

Sarah James, Executive Producer, BBC Studios said: "The excitement is already building ahead of the new series and in addition to welcoming back our fantastic returning Pros, we are looking forward to welcoming two brand new Professional Dancers to the line up who will help bring another unforgettable series of dazzling dance and loads more besides to viewers later in 2025."

Now, Strictly has shared a fresh message about the return of hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, as well as all four judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.

Alongside a video on Instagram, Strictly's social media team shared: "We’ve been limbering-up and practising our curtsies, ready for the new series of Strictly with our amazing judging panel, Shirley, Anton, Motsi and Craig and our incredible MBEs Tess and Claudia - Congratulations on your FAB-U-LOUS achievement!"

Motsi was quick to respond to the post, as she said: "And just like that… we’re BACK on @bbcstrictly. Let the sparkle, the sweat and the sequins begin! Can’t wait to share another magical season with all of you #StrictlyComeDancing #TeamStrictly #GratefulHeart."

Amy Dowden also shared: "can’t wait," while Karen Hauer commented: "The best." Dianne Buswell and Johannes Radebe also reacted to the post, sharing heart emojis in the comments section.
