Amy underwent treatment for breast cancer and shared her diagnosis publicly after being given the news in May 2023

The Strictly Come Dancing star underwent treatment for breast cancer and shared her diagnosis publicly after being given the news in May 2023.
Amy told how she'd found a lump in April, the day before her honeymoon with fellow dancer Ben Jones, and had to undergo a single mastectomy before having chemotherapy treatment.

But Amy is often hit with a reminder about what she went through, having been to the hospital for her monthly injection, due to having had a hormone-fed cancer, and also undergoing regular scans to track her progress.
In her latest social media update, Amy was seemingly having an exciting day as she was pampered by getting her hair and makeup done, while previously teasing a new big project.
Sharing a smiling selfie to her Instagram Story, she said: "The last few months, the difference in my self-esteem and confidence since my hair has grown has been huge.
