Shirley Ballas has been gushing over one of her Strictly Come Dancing co-stars who she said 'makes her proud' as she supported their move away from the ballroom.
The hit dance show's head judge was reuntied with some of her pals from the BBC One dance contest as she watching Kai Widdrington in action on his very own tour.
The professional dancer is nearing the end of his very own headline tour, titled Evolution. It was in January that Kai revealed his former Strictly co-star Giovanni Pernice is one of the creative producers for the show.
Evolution has since seen him travel the country, stopping at venues in Swansea, Doncaster, Leicester, Belfast and Dublin throughout May and June, with his last show set to take place in Fareham at Fareham Live this Sunday (June 29).
But before then, on Sunday (June 22), Kai got to enjoy a gala night in London, performing at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London's very own West End.
Among those to watch from the audience was Shirley and she couldn't have been full of more praise for Kai, the show and his fellow cast.
She first shared a video of Kai on stage to her Instagram Story and said: "Superstar @kaiwidd. Congratulations. Very proud of you and all involved."
But now Shirley has shared a post to her main Instagram grid, in which she could be seen smiling for a snap alongside the star of the show as well as enjoying time with fellow Strictly star Lauren Oakley and 2024 contestant Jamie Bowrthwick as they too headed to watch Kai's show.
"Beyond five stars for you @kaiwidd." she started her post. "A huge congratulations to my dear friend on an absolutely incredible show. I was in total awe.
"From beginning to end, it was fast paced, funny, very exciting and held together on the mic so beautifully. Your story is inspiring and was told in the most fabulous way. I am very proud of you and all involved.
"All in all it’s a 10 from me. You must see this show if you get the chance. It’s just fabulous. Onwards and Upwards for you Kai, one of the most beautiful souls I know."
She added: "Thank you @sparrowitalia @ambl.app for hosting my friend and I before the show. A beautiful restaurant found on the best app for finding those special food spots. We had the most marvelous afternoon. Till next time. Thank you. X @fulhamalison @kaiwidd."
In response, Kai wrote in the comments section: "Thankyou my darling Shirley for these lovely words."
