Nikita Kuzmin has joked about a 'criminal' move as the Strictly Come Dancing star prepares to go it alone. The professional dancer was recently seen performing up and down the country with his co-stars from the hit dance show.
Nikita, who was paired with hockey star Sam Quek during the BBC One dance contest's 2024 series, was always set to be on the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour as one of the ensemble dancers.
But his role quickly changed as he was drafted into cover for his fellow professional dancer Vito Coppola who suffered a back injury and was gutted to have to pull out of the popular tour.
Nikita therefore stepped in to partner his celebrity dance partner Sarah Hadland as the show visited arenas up and down the country across three weeks through January and February.
With the tour having ended earlier this month, Nikita is now fully focused on his own headline show, Midnight Dancer, which kicks off in a matter of days.
Taking to Instagram, Nikita shared a cheeky video in which he hurried over to the camera with a concerned look before pulling out his phone as a voice said: "If you see something that doesn't look right, speak to staff or speak to police..."
Alongside the clip, he wrote to his followers: "Not having a ticket is criminal. Final tickets at the link in my bio. TOUR BEGINS NEXT WEEK!!" It was Sarah who was among the first to show support as she commented: "I cannot wait Kita! [love heart eyes emoji]."
And Nikita's fans feel the same way. @strictlycariad said: "Stop i'm so excited to see you next weekend. March 9 can't get here fast enough." @abs_donnelly_lakita commented: "I have tickets can’t wait to see u in Cheltenham and in Birmingham. So looking forward to it."
@miss.dvs replied: "Seen it, bought it, seated!" @murphyslore1 wrote: "Going to 7 shows. First is London, can’t wait. So excited." @wennekeshelen added: "Love this... Have a FABULOUS tour @nikita__kuzmin ..see u in BATH."
It comes after Nikita was left in disbelief as he revealed that the tour was getting even bigger. Taking to Instagram with a poster for the show earlier this month, Nikita wrote: "GUYYYSSSS EVEN MORE MIDNIGHT DANCER. Due to demand, we’ve added a third London show, and a matinee show in Theatre Royal Norwich.
"What is going on!? I can’t believe it thank you thank you thank you xx Tour starts in one month and I can’t wait for you to see what we have created. Working on it literally 24/7 and it’s sooo exiting xx Tickets available at the link in my bio. love love love."
