Michelle Tsiakkas has said she's 'excited' as she announced that she'll soon reunite with her first-ever Strictly Come Dancing partner.
The professional dancer on the BBC One dance show was paired with EastEnders star Jamie Borthwick for the 2024 run of Strictly, which marked its 20th year on air.
They were the ninth couple to leave the competition but that wasn't the end of their dancing journey as they got to continue performing together on the Strictly Live tour, which came to an end earlier in February after beginning in mid-January.
Weeks after the string of arena shows came to an end, Michelle revealed her next move alongside her real-life partner Simone Arena, a professional dancer on the Belgian, Italian and Irish versions of Dancing with the Stars.
They revealed all in a video posted to both of their Instagram accounts. They confirmed they'll be joining forces to put on their own dance classes. Alongside the video, the pair wrote: "‘Shall we Dance’ Experience. We are very excited to announce a new project we have coming up! We will be running a series of dance workshops around the UK!
"They will be suitable for everyone whether you’ve never danced before or are an experienced dancer. Our workshops will not only focus on learning choreography but also on performance, building confidence as a dancer, and practicing important technical elements that can take your dancing to the next level!
"We will also hold a meet and greet and Q&A session at the end of the workshops for those who have any questions! Want to be the first to receive exclusive offers and booking dates? Now, Michelle has offered an update and it involves Jamie after fans fell in love with their partnership on Strictly 2024. Sharing pictures of the pair in the ballroom, the dancer said: "Excited to announce that our special guest for our first ‘Shall We Dance’ workshop 23rd of March in London is ….
"My lovely partner and the rumba master himself, Jamie Borthwick!!! And we will be dancing his 2 favourite dances, the rumba and the paso! You won’t want to miss it! Book your spot now with the link in my bio! Spaces are limited."
Jamie was quick to respond, as he wrote in the comments section: "Can’t wait! … see if I still remember the moves." Michelle then replied: "Well I know there’s one rumba move you’ll never forget." Simone also shared: "Oh can’t wait."
