Joe Sugg has been sent a sweet message by his girlfriend Dianne Buswell before he was quick to support the Strictly Come Dancing star's huge news.

The YouTube favourite and the professional dancer have been loved-up every since they met on BBC One dance show when they were paired together for the 2018 series.

The pair were patterned during the series and came runners-up behind eventual winners Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton, who also became a couple after the series wrapped and have since welcomed their first child together.

In recent weeks, Joe and Dianne have been delighting fans as they continue to share gorgeous snippets of their recent trip to South Africa.

The lovebirds were seen last month (February) attending the wedding of friends Caspar Lee and Ambar Driscoll in South Africa and shared various updates on social media.

Soon after the spectacular wedding had take place, Joe and Dianne went their separate ways on their travels. While Joe headed home to the UK, where he has been seen offering training updates for the London Marathon, Dianne headed back home to Australia, starting in Perth before heading to be with her loved ones.

The professional dancer has since been seen lapping up the quality time with all her family, including her parents Mark and Rina, who Strictly fans come to adore during their time in the UK last year when their daughter lifted the Strictly Glitterball trophy with comedian Chris McCausland.

But the trip has also been bittersweet as Dianne recently shared how her grandmother had died while she was home, before the family had her brother's son's baptism to celebrate.

In a new update, Joe took to social media and shared a beautiful cinematic-style video giving a glimpst at his and Dianne's stay at the Mount Nelson hotel in Cape Town, South Africa.

Captioning the post, Joe wrote: "I was so blown away by the first hotel of our South Africa trip I decided to record in Apple-log and have a go at grading. Quite liked how it turned out." But Dianne was quick to respond, writing: "[red heart emojis] awww miss you."

Fans were also quick to respond. @eddo_official said: "The cinematography in this is top tier. It looks amazing, like a mini movie!" @smudgercfc commented: "Love this, beautifully filmed. What a place." @wedydorithy wrote: "Lovely hotel my fav you stayed at in your vlogs. Great film."

@sha.ac12 replied: "Wow, love this so much joe." @erina.forde_ posted: "This looks like a real life Disney movie." @buswellsdaisy shared: "Looks so gorgeous!" @anncnagy added: "Looks fabulous what an experience and beautifully captured."

Meanwhile, it's been revealed that Strictly 2024 winner Dianne and her celebrity dance partner Chris McCausland are among the nominees for the Bafta P&O Cruises Memorable Moment award. The award is voted on by the public and aims to celebrate the most impactful parts of the year’s television.

The Strictly winners are nominated for their performance of You’ll Never Walk Alone, which saw Dianne leave the ballroom floor so her partner could dance on his own before she returned to spinning in his arms moments later in tear-jerking scenes.

Sharing the news on Instagram on Wednesday (March 12), Dianne wrote on Instagram: "I am so proud of us @chrismccauslandcomedy we are nominated for a BAFTA for our beautiful waltz to you will never walk alone.

"It’s the only BAFTA award that the winner is decided by you guys. So if you enjoyed this moment as much as we did go ahead and give us a vote the voting opens at 8am today and finished April 25th I’ll leave the link in my bio."

She added: "This dance was so special to both of us hence why we chose this dance as our final dance to enjoy together on the night of the strictly final ! The emotion felt in every step was so so real and we are just so honoured to be nominated @bbcstrictly."

Joe shared the news to his Instagram Story and said: "Wowaweewa! What brilliant news to wake up to @diannebuswell @chrismccauslandcomedy. It's publicly voted so make sure you get your vote in."
