Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Marquez joked that he was being "replaced" as he posted a video of Gemma Atkinson with their new dog.

The couple met during the 2017 series of Strictly Come Dancing, with Gorka officially proposing to Gemma on Valentine's Day in 2021. They also share two children together - Mia and Thiago.

They were paired with different partners, with Gemma making the final alongside pro dancer Aljaz Skorjanec while Gorka also made it to the end of the competition with celebrity dance partner Alexandra Burke.

Taking to his Instagram, Gorka posted a video of the family enjoying the sunshine in their garden before panning over to Gemma who was sat away from him with their new puppy.

Alongside the video he wrote: "I've been replaced again" as Gemma reposted the clip and added: "Sorry not sorry".

The couple recently welcomed their pup home after announcing the news on social media. Gorka posted photos of their new goldendoodle puppy as he wrote: "Another set of paws New memories to make. So far, today has been the best day of 2025… Welcome to the family Benji Marquez".

The snaps show their adorable pooch having fun in the garden alongside the couple and their children.

Gemma then posted her own video separately, as she added: "You sent another Angel because you knew i needed one. Thank you Norman & Ollie... Let the fun begin with Benji".

She sadly lost her dog Norman last year, with Ollie then also passing away just six months later, after their loss Gemma thanked fans for all of their support.

Recently, Gemma opened up about struggling with pet loss. Taking to her stories she said: "Genuine question for you, honest answers. When people got their new dog after losing senior dogs, or dog, as happy and amazing and lovely as they are, I mean I love him so much already... Did you still feel a twang of guilt on your previous dogs?...

"This is Norman's toy, you like that one don't you? He loves Norman's toy. It's lovely but did you feel guilty on your other dogs, because I do a little bit. I don't know why."

After the emotional video she added: "Okay so pretty much every single one of us felt this so at least it's normal and I'm not going crackers. Thank you for sharing your messages and stories with me.

"Pet grief really hits different, I don't care what anyone says it just does. And until you've been through it I don't think you understand how hard it can be."
