Ellie Leach has told fans she 'did a thing' as she showed off her new look for the first time. The actress took to social media to debut a new shorter do after heading to see her hairdresser.
Luckily for Ellie, her hairdresser also happens to be her cousin and she apologised to her family member as she seemingly revealed how undergoing the chop really came about.
The Strictly Come Dancing 2023 winner shared a selfie showing off her cropped brunette locks with an added whispy fringe and said: "Whoops @hairbymaisiemcdermott."
She also shared the post to her Instagram Story and said: "Did a thing. Sorry for always making you cut my hair even when you don't want to @hairbymaisiemcdermott xxxxx."
And the compliments quickly came flooding in. Former Corrie star and real-life cousin Brooke Vincent posted a number of love heart eyes emojis in the comments section while Sacha Parkinson commented: "OMG LOVE LOVE LOVE FKING LOVE."
Corrie's Abi Webster star Sally Carman-Duttine replied: "LOVE," with a number of love heart emojis. Strictly Come Dancing's 2024 champion Dianne Buswell also posted: "[red heart emoji] Obsessed." Strictly pro Lauren Oakley added: "LOVE."
Ellie's fans and followers were also quick to respond. @dorathyandj said: "Omg so cool!! Obsessed." @jade.a.golding commented: "Omg cuuuuuuttte!!!" @patmason656 wrote: "Looking absolutely gorgeous and glowing."

Earlier this month, Ellie to social media with a string of new snaps documenting her start to the year and spoke about embracing her curlier locks.
The brunette beauty reshared one particular selfie to her Instagram Story and said: "Trying to embrace my natural curls a bit more. They are wildddddd."
