Dianne Buswell has been flooded with messages of love and support as she confirmed the end of her trip home to Australia, which ended up being a bittersweet trip for the dancer.

The Strictly Come Dancing star headed Down Under after enjoying a short trip, along with a stunning wedding, in South Africa with her boyfriend Joe Sugg.

She and Joe then went their seperate ways on their travels as Dianne headed into Brisbane where she was seemingly working before moving on to be reunited with her family.

She has since spent the past few weeks back home in Australia and recently revealed how her flight back to the UK had been changed a number of times due to a number of family emergencies.

During her time away, Dianne shared the heartbreaking loss of her beloved Nan before her dad fell ill, and ended up in the hospital having emergency heart surgery.

But on Sunday (March 23), the 36-year-old shared how she was finally jetting back to the UK to be reunited with Joe, but reflected positively on her time in Australia despite the difficulties she and her family faced in such a short space of time.

Alongside a string of pictures and videos from her time with her loved ones, Dianne wrote to her 1.1 million followers: "Another visit comes to an end ! And even though there were ups and downs it was a visit that filled my heart to the fullest [red heart emoji].

"I saw my Nan and said goodbye I was god mother to my beautiful nephew . I was there to hold my dad’s hand when he woke up from surgery. I was there when my mum needed me the most.. these moments are special and I am grateful I was around for it all x."

She rounded off by saying: "Next stop @joe_sugg," alongside a string of red heart emojis. But she did get a bit of a sign before she left Australia as while in the airport, she heard Instant Karma! (We All Shine On) by John Lennon playing, which Strictly fans will recall was the song she and Chris McCausland before to during the 2024 series.

Meanwhile, fans were quick to respond to the post. @hayleykpt_ said: "Family is everything. So glad you got to be there with them, safe travels." @pamswelshgarden wrote: "You’ve had such a lot to contend with but you have a fantastic family, a great partner - and you’re strictly champion!"

@_lucystein commented: "So happy for you that you were able to be there with them." @eddo_official shared: "So much love. I know it’s not been easy but I’m so glad you’ve been at home to be with your family at the times you’ve needed schooner most. Sending the biggest hug."

@dianne_joe_suggwell replied: "So happy you were back with your family! Loved watching your vlogs as always! Safe travels home." @strictlyprobuzz added: "Gosh you have the most loveliest family! I'm sorry it has been a tough one but it looks like you made some beautiful memories too."
