Dianne Buswell has been issued a clear demand from fans as she was left 'fighting tears' over a news update from the other side of the world.

The Strictly Come Dancing star is once again celebrating her joint success with celebrity dance partner Chris McCausland, months after winning the BBC One dance contest's 2024 series.

Professional dancer Dianne and comedian Chris were crowned winners of the hit dance show in the Glittering final back in December last year, having been paired together for the 20th-anniversary series of the BBC One dance contest back in September.

But the pair had reason to celebrate again as they won the memorable moment award, which is voted for by the public, at the TV Bafta Television Awards with P&O Cruises.

The winning couple's Waltz to the Liverpool anthem You'll Never Walk Alone, which they reprised in the Strictly final, was the performance that earned them the nomination.

The magical performance, which they recreated during the Strictly final back in December, saw Dianne leave the ballroom floor so her partner could dance on his own before she returned to spinning in his arms moments later in tear-jerking scenes.

Accepting their award, Dianne said on stage: "In one minute and 30 seconds of a dance, I feel like this told such a story. A story of hope, determination, resilience and vulnerability, all in that one minute 30." She added: "This moment meant so much to the both of us, so I’m just so thrilled that we have this."

Dianne mentioned that Chris had prepped her with something to say on his behalf just in case they won as she said: "Chris did have something he wanted me to say, and that is ‘After 22 years in comedy, he wins a Bafta for dancing,"' before joking that it "hurts".

Now, Dianne has shared a string of fresh photos from the special evening on Instagram, alongside the caption: "I promise to stop going on about it soon, but these just got sent to me @bafta @pandocruises."

But the congratulatory messages continued to come flooding in, and the encouragement for Dianne to keep posting about her award-winning moment.

Boyfriend Joe Sugg gushed: "My winner." Vito Coppola said: "BRAVISSIMA. You were amazing and your speech gave me goosebumps." Gemma Atkinson replied: "Congrats Di!" Ore Oduba cheered: "YOU DID IT!!!!!!!" Sarah Hadland replied: "go girl."

@isa.andersonc wrote: "Do not stop going on about it! No need to apologise for your success. You’re a queen." @anyamae.15 commented: "Never stop!!! a BAFTA is an incredible and an important achievement, you and chris created this moment that was so memorable that it deserved to win."

@buswellsdaisy posted: "Such gorgeous pics! don’t ever stop going on about it it’s something to be so proud of." @fabiak19 added: "Don’t ever feel like you need to stop!! it is such an amazing achievement and all the photos from that night are just stunning!! looooove."

It came after Dianne also shared a video of the moment her Bafta win was featured on the news back home in Autralia. She featured in the report, as did her proud parents Mark and Rina.

Captioning the post, the dancer wrote: "This is when it really hits home litterally ! When you make the local GWN news in your home town of bunbury [heart and face holding back tears emoji]. Mark and Rina your the best @mark.3802 @rinabuswell @visitbunburygeographe."
