Dianne Buswell has dropped a huge engagement hint after fans regularly ask when her boyfriend Joe Sugg may be inclined to pop the question.

The professional dancer and YouTuber met on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2018, when they were paired by the show’s bosses to compete for the glitterball trophy together.

They didn't win the BBC One dance contest that year, with Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton being crowned champions after a dazzling final.

But Joe and Dianne did find love and quickly began seeing each other after the show came to an end and have been in a happy relationship ever since.

Now, Dianne has been heard dropping a hint about Joe asking her a big question during the latest episode of her podcast with Strictly 2024 partner Chris McCausland.

Having a discussion about fingers, Dianne pointed to what is traditionally known as the ring finger and asked: "What’s that one, your best friend finger?" to which comedian Chris quipped: "It’s the one Joe’s done nothing with."

Dianne then joked: "Exactly, we need to remind Joe what that finger holds. That finger is feeling very lonely, it needs something to weigh it down with."

It comes after Dianne was recently heard talking about starting a family with Joe. Speaking to The Sun, she said: "I would like to have children, 100 per cent. Joe and I love kids, and that’s definitely something that we would absolutely love. I haven’t really thought about how many I would like. It will definitely happen."

But the pair do already have their hands full as they are already auntie and uncle to their siblings’ children. Dianne said: "Joe’s got two nieces who I also class as my nieces, and then I have another two nieces and two nephews in Australia, and my oldest niece is 15.

"I am a big fan of my little nieces and nephews. I love kids, I love working with them and being around them. Sometimes, I’m a big kid at heart myself. I think it helps when you can get down to their level. I’m very lucky."
