Dianne Buswell and her family have been flooded with love and support as she responded to an update from her brother mentioning the 'tough' time they have been facing.
The Strictly Come Dancing star has spent the past few weeks back home in Australia and it has been a bittersweet return for Dianne, with her recently sharing the heartbreaking loss of her beloved Nan and sharing how her dad has been unwell and in the hospital.
Earlier this month, Dianne revealed online that she'd said a final goodbye to her grandmother. She confirmed the sad news as she shared a video of herself and her Nan on Instagram.
Alongside the sweet clip, she told her online following: "Rest in peace nan. Love you very much. I’m so grateful I was home to say goodbye to such a special lady in my life. Now go be with pop he has been patiently waiting for you."
It was then, over the past weekend, that Dianne took to Instagram and shared a photo of herself with her day, who was lying alongside her in a hospital bed. "My dad my super hero," Dianne captioned the post.
Her Strictly co-stars were among the first to respond, including the likes of Vito Coppola and Shirley Ballas, as well as fans who sent their well wishes to Mark.
Now, Dianne's brother has shared a post on social media, which featured a picture of Dianne alongside their mother, Rina, as well as his two children.
Alongside the post, Andrew Buswell said: "Mum, we acknowledge that the last few weeks have been incredibly tough on you, and yesterday was the most challenging. Your unwavering strength is admirable, and we want to express our deepest love and appreciation for you. You are an extraordinary lady, we are so lucky to have you @rinabuswell."
Dianne responded to the post with a number of red heart emojis before her own fans rushed to respond with love and support. @eddo_official said: "Sending all my love to you guys from the other side of the world and an extra big hug to Rina."
@sandrajwall commented: "We are all thinking of you all in UK, much love to you all and especially your mum and dad." @webb.jacky wrote: "Hang on in there guys, what a tough time you've had. Sending love." @princesspanda_sammie added: "Sending so much love to you all. Wishing your dad a speedy recovery."
It comes after Dianne was heard opening up to her fellow Strictly champ Chris McCausland on their podcast, which was opened by her asking her former dance partner how he was. He said: "I've been alright, Di. But more importantly, how have you been?"
She replied: "Look, I won't lie, I've had better weeks in my life but it's been an interesting one. There's been a lot happening in this last week since I last spoke to you. I had my gorgeous, beautiful Nan, she sadly passed away this week which is very, very sad.
"However, I have been looking at it in a different way and I'm looking at it as, I could have been in the UK, I could have not said goodbye to her. I maybe wouldn't have been able to see her before she passed, so I'm seeing it in a very positve way and I was able to be there for my family which has been really lovely.
"I think, you know, that classic thing of, Nan's are so funny arent they? You really go back and have a good ol' chat about all the funny things that she's done in her lifetime when they do pass and there's been lots of stories thrown around through the family which has been really lovel.y."
