Amy Dowden has said she is 'grateful' as she reflected on how far she has come in the past few years after being diagnosed with cancer.

The Strictly Come Dancing star underwent treatment for breast cancer and shared her diagnosis publicly after being given the news in May 2023.

Amy told how she'd found a lump in April of the same year, the day before her honeymoon with fellow dancer Ben Jones, and had to undergo a single mastectomy before having chemotherapy treatment.

In February 2024, the dancer announced she had "no evidence of disease" following tests and later made a triumphant return to the hit dance show for its 20th-anniversary series last year.

The professional dancer has since been living life to the full and acknowledged how she was grateful for the chance to live the best life she possibly can while taking a holiday with husband Ben and their friends.

Alongsdie pictures of her basking in the sunshine as she kicked back on a sunlounger in a bikini, Amy shared with her Instagram followers: "What a day! Forever grateful!"
