Amy Dowden has declared her love for one of her Strictly Come Dancing co-stars as they came to the end of their latest 'adventure'.

Dancers Amy and Carlos Gu recently revealed to fans that they were taking part in a celebrity edition of Channel 4's hit show, Hunted, for Stand up to Cancer.

The professional dancers are two of the closest friends on the popular BBC One dance show, having recently joined forces for their very first joint-headline tour.

Both Amy and Carlos are both confirmed to be returning to Strictly later in the year, but before their return to the ballroom for the 2025 series, the pair were seen going on the run.

Confirming their Celebrity Hunted stint during an appearance on ITV's Lorraine earlier this month, Amy said: "We are currently fugitives on the run in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, but I wanted to do this for you this morning. I’ve blown our cover.

"While I’ve been here I have been telling everyone about checking your chest for breast cancer. I know you do an amazing job of telling everyone about that as well Lorraine."

"We’re going to have to get going now because our cover is blown and Lorraine we have an outrageous way of getting out of here,” Amy explained. Shouting into the camera, Carlos added: "Catch us if you can, Hunters." 

Now, Amy has revealed their time filming the show has come to an end. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (July 16), she shared a picture of herself and Carlos in their 'Hunted' gear and said: "Love you so much :gkx_carlos," to which he replied: "Love you more!"

She also shared a video of the pair dancing on stage together at Bristol Pride while trying to evade the hunters, and said:" We have our phones back. What an adventure!"

Carlos also shared the video and admitted: "We've been hiding from the unters, but we never hide from being ourselves (sic)!" before Amy rounded off by sharing a selfie to her own profile and confirming: "Home sweet home!" as she beamed with her thumb up to the camera.
