As former Strictly Come Dancing 'legends' joined Emma Willis and Joel Dommett on This Morning, Emma was issued a "don't" warning after a confession.

During Monday's installment of This Morning, Joel and Emma returned to the studio as presenters while Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard take their annual summer break.

Along with Joel and Emma, other presenters include Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Sian Welby, Olivia Attwood, Craig Doyle, Josie Gibson, Rylan Clark, Rochelle Hulmes and Andi Peters.

After a sold-out 2024 tour, Strictly legends Brendan Cole, James Jordan, Pasha Kovalev, Vincent Simone, and Ian Waite will be going on tour once again.

They'll be offering the audience a night of Latin, ballroom, tango, and rumba, reminiscent of their days on the hit BBC ballroom show.

As Joel and Emma sat down with them, Emma confessed: "I'm a sofa dancer. Have you heard of one of them? I love Strictly, I'm a massive fan, and I sit there and I watch it, and I do this", as she wiggled her body up and down on the sofa.

She continued: "I'm watching them dance, and my toes point in and before I know it everyone's looking at me like 'what are you doing?'"

The Strictly legends laughed, before James interjected: "If you do it like that, don't ever do Strictly!"

Emma then asked them how they're feeling about going on tour, to which Pasha responded: "We love it so much, and what's important is the audience loved it so much, so they want some more. Which we're bringing on stages across the UK, and we have fun on the show."

Ian then added: "We weren't actually sure how it would be perceived. Whether we still had an audience, whether our audience was still alive! We're that old, it's been 20 years since me and Brendan had our first series."

James then admitted that before going on tour, he hadn't danced professionally for ten years.

He shared: "I mean, how many times did I have to leave the rehearsal room because I thought I was gonna have a heart attack. I couldn't get through the jive.

"During rehearsal I kept saying to the production guy, I've got to make this jive shorter I'm not gonna get through it... It became a running joke in the end and we put it in the show."

This Morning airs on weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
