Strictly Come Dancing fans have been saying pretty much the same thing since Dianne Buswell and Chris McCausland made a huge announcement.
It's now been a few months since the pair won the BBC One dance contest. There were emotional scenes back in December when the comedian and the professional dancer lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy after beating their fellow finalists.
After their dancing journey came to an end, the emotional pair went their separate ways, with Dianne heading out with her co-stars on the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour, while Chris headed back to his stand-up tour, Yonks!, which he started before signing up to the hit dance show.
While Chris and Dianne are still very much firm friends and working together on their very own podcast, Winning Isn't Everything, the piar have now been given some big news about their Strictly journey as their success continues.
It's been revealed that Chris and Dianne are among the nominees for the Bafta P&O Cruises Memorable Moment award. The award is voted on by the public and aims to celebrate the most impactful parts of the year’s television.
The Strictly winners, who are the second-ever to be nominated following Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice, are nominated for their performance of You’ll Never Walk Alone, which saw Dianne leave the ballroom floor so her partner could dance on his own before she returned to spinning in his arms moments later in tear-jerking scenes.
Sharing the news on Instagram on Wednesday (March 12), Dianne wrote on Instagram: "I am so proud of us @chrismccauslandcomedy we are nominated for a BAFTA for our beautiful waltz to you will never walk alone.
"It’s the only BAFTA award that the winner is decided by you guys. So if you enjoyed this moment as much as we did go ahead and give us a vote the voting opens at 8am today and finished April 25th I’ll leave the link in my bio."
She added: "This dance was so special to both of us hence why we chose this dance as our final dance to enjoy together on the night of the strictly final ! The emotion felt in every step was so so real and we are just so honoured to be nominated @bbcstrictly."
Strictly itself also shared the news on Instagram and the same messages came flooding in, telling Chris and Dianne the nomination is 'deserved' and that they should be the chosen winners.
@hayley.j.1974 said: "He deserves to win for the absolutely amazing achievement of learning to dance and Dianne deserves to win for being able to adapt all of her previous teaching methods, which were pretty much all visual, to Chris."
@erin.cherry123 commented: "They really deserve to win. This moment and Chris inclusion on the show is one of those times when a not only brilliant tv show is entertaining and moving, it also has the power to change perceptions and lives, they have my vote."
@lynnemarshall67 replied: "Just has to win,was a magical moment in strictly history,i voted 3 times." @eddo_official added: "It hassss to win its magical!!! Most special piece of tv eveeerrrr."
And Dianne was clearly overwhelmed with the support as she commented on one of the posts around red heart emojis: "Thank you so much everybody for taking the time to vote."
