Two Strictly Come Dancing stars have excited fans as they made an announcement together about how fans will be able to see them 'keep dancing' into next year.
Those who closely follow the hit BBC One dance show will already know that Kai Widdrington and Lauren Oakley are among the professional dancers returning for the new series this autumn.
They will be back in the ballroom when the competition returns in a matter of weeks alongside Dianne Buswell, Nadiya Bychkova, Amy Dowden, Karen Hauer, Katya Jones and Neil Jones.
Also making up this year's pro line-up are Nikita Kuzmin, Gorka Marquez, Luba Mushtuk, Jowita Przystal, Johannes Radebe, Aljaž Škorjanec, Michelle Tsiakkas, Nancy Xu, Carlos Gu and Vito Coppola.
It was also confirmed that two new professional dancers will be joining the show and the newcomers have since been revealed as So You Think You Can Dance champion Alexis Warr and Australia’s Dancing With The Stars' Julian Caillon.
But away from the popular dance contest, Lauren and Kai have revealed some of their plans for dancing together next year. In a video posted to Instagram, Donaheys revealed a 'double announcement' which featured the pair confirming they'll be part of a series of weekend events next year.
A message alongside the post read: "DOUBLE ANNOUNCEMENT! We’re absolutely delighted to share that the dynamic duo Kai Widdrington and Lauren Oakley will be joining us for TWO of our 2026 Donaheys Dancing with the Stars weekends!
"Get ready for phenomenal dance workshops, dance showcases and fascinating Q&A sessions where you can dive deep into their incredible careers!
"These two bring their infectious friendship wherever they go - expect lots of laughs with this pair! Their playful energy and stunning technique make every moment unforgettable."If you’ve been to our DWTS weekends before, you know we create pure magic - and with Kai and Lauren, we’re taking it to the next level!"
It comes as Strictly's smiling stars have since been seen heading back to rehearsals for week two, as they prepare to pre-record the group numbers that'll be seen throughout the upcoming series.
It comes after the group already spent last week working hard on the upcoming group numbers before taking a weekend break and headed back for a new week ahead of the pre-recording of the group numbers taking place at the end of August.
