She previously shared her plans to get married later this year, but Closer can reveal that TOWIE's Amy Childs has now called off her wedding to fiancé Billy Delbosq.

‘Amy has had to cancel her wedding and she’s absolutely gutted,’ our insider says. ‘There was going to be a show around it, following the run-up to their big day, but they’ve had to make some last-minute changes based on what’s going on in their lives.’

The TOWIE star, 34, and Billy, 42 – who are parents to two-year-old twins Amelia ‘Milly’ and Billy – have been together for five years, after meeting during the lockdown in 2020. After a brief split in 2022, which ‘devastated’ Amy, the couple got engaged in April 2023 when First Dates star Billy proposed by dressing their newborn babies in matching suits that read, Mummy will you marry my Daddy? The businessman got down on one knee at a family photo shoot with a huge diamond ring, with Amy gushing, ‘I said YES… Future Mrs Amy Delbosq.’

Back in February, Amy told Closer that they were planning to tie the knot this autumn. ‘Everything is ticked off – I feel like I’ve got the wedding body, and the twins are getting older,’ she said. ‘I’ve got a wedding planner, but we still need to do the venue, dress and singer. But if we want to do it this year, we have to get organised. I’m thinking September or October.’

The star – who also has daughter Polly, eight, with builder ex Bradley Wright and son Ritchie, six, with ex-boyfriend Ritchie – has already gone wedding dress shopping, while Billy has also taken Polly shopping for a bridesmaid dress.

But two months later, in April, Amy admitted that their wedding plans had stalled and they had yet to set an exact date in the diary, saying, ‘In my head we will have an end of summer wedding, but I have nothing planned yet! This is the worrying thing – I still don’t know if it will be this year. But there’s still time to make it work. Every week we change our minds, we go from talking about it non-stop, to not speaking about it at all the following week.’

She added, ‘I don’t know if five months is enough time to plan it. It’s so much pressure. I don’t want to be stressed. It’s my big day. I want everything to be perfect, and at the minute we don’t know what is going on. With so much to sort out, I do feel overwhelmed! And Amy Childs getting married has to be extravagant! I want it to be an amazing day for me and Bill. I don’t want us to be rushed.’

And now, after a string of personal woes amid a tough few weeks, Amy and Billy’s wedding plans remain up in the air. Closer previously reported that an attempted break-in at the couple’s £1.7million dream home in Essex earlier this month left the TV star ‘terrified’ and ‘shocked’. It came just days after her mum Julie suffered a heart attack and was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery – which she said ‘felt like our world tipped upside down’.

Our source reveals, ‘Since the break-in and with Amy’s mum going through a massive heart attack last month, Amy has decided that it’s too much stress and she needs to put the wedding on hold. She and Bill are very much still together, but they’ve cancelled their plans to focus on other things. The wedding was supposed to be in September, but she feels under way too much pressure. She’s struggling, it’s all super full-on.’

Amid all the drama, fans have also voiced their worries about Amy’s recent weight loss after showcasing a much slimmer frame. ‘Oh Amy, you don’t look well at all. It’s sad to see’, one follower said, while another remarked, ‘Please stop. I was shocked to see how thin you are.’

At the start of the year, Amy – who lost two stone after the birth of her twins – hit back at claims she had been taking weight-loss jabs after sharing a photo of herself in a bikini on holiday. ‘I’m walking into 2025 feeling amazing. Haven’t worn a bikini for seven years, and now, four kids later, I can say I feel bloody great,’ she said.

‘And no!!! This wasn’t done by using jabs or pills. It has been a few months of dedication with good food and exercise and I am ready to feel confident this year. I still need to tone up a tad more but I am feeling so happy with my body at last!’

Our source adds, ‘Amy has been so stressed, she’s living off adrenaline. She knows she’s lost a lot of weight but has told friends she’s absolutely not on the jab like people have been saying, it’s all down to the stress of looking after her mum and the panic after she caught someone trying to break into her home.’
