Jarrett “JT” Thomas has fans worried that he’s making himself “sick” and unhealthy after sharing a new pic and showing off his dramatic weight loss.

Just days after confirming he was leaving his role on Southern Charm ahead of the show’s season 10 premiere, citing an “extremely challenging [and] exhausting year,” fans are concerned that JT, 39, is getting “too skinny” amid his ongoing battle with diabetes.

“One day at a time,” JT wrote in the caption of a November 8 post, which featured before and after photos of him, including a before pic with a drink in his hand.

Although many took JT’s message to be the confirmation of his sobriety, especially since his caption is a phrase used in the Alcoholics Anonymous program, he has not identified himself as an addict, nor has he spoken of being in recovery.

In the comments section of his post, in addition to fans applauding his potential decision to quit drinking, many worried about his health.

“Stay healthy…you’re almost too thin,” one person said.

“[Please don’t lose] too much weight [you] will look sick,” another advised.

Others told JT that he looked healthy before and was now “looking a little thin.”

“You getting too skinny!” someone shared.

“No more weight loss,” begged another. A different IG user said they hoped JT was “okay.”

“He doesn’t look healthy,” another person stated.

At the end of last week, after joining Southern Charm for its ninth season in 2023, JT confirmed he had quit the show with a statement on Instagram.

“It comes with a heavy heart to share that I have resigned from Southern Charm,” he wrote. “Yesterday I informed Bravo that I will not be participating in the [two to three] remaining green room interviews remaining before [the season] airs [on December 5] (I’ve done about [nine] thus far leading up to today) and that I no longer wish to participate in any ways moving forward with the TV show.”

“I will leave it at that for now. While I work on next steps to recover both physically and mentally from what has been an extremely challenging [and] exhausting year,” he added.

JT’s exit came just days after he went Instagram official with his new girlfriend, Ali Pereless, and faced backlash for allegedly faking a romance with his co-star Venita Aspen, 31, who promptly unfollowed him.
