The Southern Charm Season 10 premiere could almost be here, which is some much-needed good news after the past few days. Patricia Altschul confirmed that after suffering from a few strokes, her longtime butler Michael Kelcourse had died. It was absolutely heartbreaking news that definitely affected every fan of the show. Patricia and Michael’s friendship was a core element of the show that will never be forgotten.
Aside from the devastating news about Michael, we haven’t heard much about the future of Southern Charm. Bravo has done a slight cast shake-up, letting stars like Olivia Flowers go ahead of Season 10. In a week of so much sadness, Patricia recently provided Southern Charm fans with some positive news about the franchise that we definitely all needed. And it sounds like we’ll be getting to catch up with our favorite friends in Charleston sooner rather than later.

Patricia took to TikTok to share a behind-the-scenes clip of herself chatting with Shep Rose while filming confessionals for Southern Charm after Season 9’s drama. The nonchalant video featured plenty of green screens and not a lot of new information. That is until Patricia took to the comments to drop some secret news.
One Southern Charm fan asked Patricia in the comment section when the show would be coming back. “In December,” she said without hesitation. It’s not quite the official announcement, but definitely the confirmation we needed that we’ll be headed back to Charleston before the end of the year.
The video also confirms that both Patricia and Shep will be back next season, which isn’t a huge surprise. Let’s just hope for no “poopy dog moments” with Pat.
We’ll just have to wait for Bravo to grace us with an official announcement to figure out the definitive Season 10 cast of Southern Charm.
