TOWIE returned to our screens last night (Sunday 23 February) when series 35 of the ITVBe show made its debut and in true Essex fashion, there was plenty of drama. Not only was Junaid Ahmed and Joe Blackman’s feud with Dani Imbert still rumbling on, but there was also the fallout from James ‘Diags’ Bennewith’s emotional split from Jodie Wells.

The cast has a new addition too, with Roman Hackett’s girlfriend – and former Love Island star – Matilda Draper joining the show after they went public with their romance last year.

Matilda is the latest reality star to join TOWIE, 15 years after the show made stars out of the likes of Mark Wright, James ‘Arg’ Argent and Lucy Mecklenburgh, and now an Essex OG has seemingly teased they could be returning to the show.

Nine years on from her last appearance, Billie Faiers – who rose to fame on the show alongside her sister Sam – has spoken out about the show and is it just us or is this giving comeback?

‘I have the best memories,’ she said. ‘It was such a fun time, and it gave me so many amazing opportunities, so I’ll forever be grateful.’

Billie told OK!, ‘It’s amazing to see how far everyone has come.’

And speaking of series 35, she continued, ‘I might even dip in and out of the new series, out of curiosity!’

Wait, does this mean we could see Billie back on the show? YES PLEASE.

Okay, she probably means dipping in and out as a viewer, but we can dream, can’t we?

Just imagine how iconic it would be if Billie and Sam returned to their old stomping ground.

After finding fame on TOWIE, Billie and Sam went on to star in their own spin-off show Sam & Billie: The Mummy Diaries for five years.

In 2021, Sam revealed she would be leaving The Mummy Diairies and it was rebranded to The Family Diaries, focusing on Billie’s family life with husband Greg and their children Nelly, Arthur and Margot. However, Billie and Greg announced last year that The Family Diaries would be coming to an end.
