A Celebrity Big Brother star has been arrested moments after she was booted off the show in jaw-dropping scenes.
Model Aleska Genesis, 33, was greeted by police the minute she left the star-studded set of Mexican spin-off La Casa De Los Famosos All Stars on Monday.
The runway star is under suspicion of playing a role in the theft of high-end watches and was swiftly escorted to a women's prison in Mexico City.
Prosecuters accuse her and others of being involved in a 'gang-related theft' of various luxury timepieces, The Mirror reports.
The dramatic end to the model's run on the show shocked die-hard viewers, who had voted her off that evening, but could hardly have expected such a sharp fall from grace.
Genesis made it to day 35 of the fifth series of La Casa De Los Famosos All Stars which is still early days in the programme's marathon 17-week run.

She became the fifth contestant to be booted off this year's show, leaving the likes of Grammy award-winning singer Lupillo Rivera and talk show host Laura Bozzo still in the house.
It comes after Genesis, who was once believed to be dating Colombian football star James Rodriguez before they quashed the rumours, was taken to custody in relation to a similar crime in January 2024.
On that occasion, she was accused of stealing more than £380,511 (10m MXN) worth of expensive watches.
Genesis was stopped at Mexico City International Airport the moment she landed from Miami, Florida, on suspicion of the theft of three timepieces from a home in the capital 14 months prior.
The missing items on that occasion belonged to Francisco Javier Rodríguez Borgio, who owned a high-profile casino chain.
Genesis' name came up after one of Borgio's friends called him up and claimed the model had attempted to flog the watches to him in Miami.
It was alleged that she then sold them on in a jewellery store in the same US city.
Shortly after her arrest on Monday, Genesis reposted a story from Venezuelan model Michell Roxana to her 8.1million Instagram followers.

It read: 'Today, I'm revealing the truth: There is no crime, no real evidence against us; just lies fabricated by Francisco Javier Rodríguez Borgio.
'There’s clear evidence that this is all a set-up by Borgio to harm and tarnish our image.'
Her stint in prison last year was a short one, with a judge ordering her release thanks to a lack of evidence in the case.
Genesis is believed to have been aware of the warrant for her arrest when she went into La Casa De Los Famosos All Stars five weeks ago.
A legal safeguard, secured by a lawyer ahead of her arrival on the show, expired the moment she was booted from the programme.
